Photo Story
It's the first day of school! Plus, and more importantly, it's my daughter's ninth Birthday. :D So it's been a little busy. But, I made her Birthday cake earlier and since I'm home alone now I got to lick the bowl myself...heh. :P
Anyway, I was afraid I might not have time to put together this new chapter of "House of Pullip" today but I managed it. I hope you enjoy it!
Chapter 247: The Walk Home
Ivy: I’m having a great time, Felix!
Felix: I’m glad.
Ivy: You are a very good dancer…I didn’t expect that…
Felix: Well, I thought it might be nice to do something besides the typical dinner and a movie.
Ivy: So…how have you been?
Felix: Okay, just the same old stuff.
Ivy: I…missed you.
Felix: Yeah, I missed you, too.
Felix: What about you, what have you been up to?
Ivy: Still working.
Felix: Modeling?
Ivy: Yeah, I got some regular work so that’s good. Oh! And I’m going back to school part time.
Felix: Really? That’s great!
Ivy: *shrugs* I tried school before but it didn’t work out…we’ll see if it works about better this time. I’m only taking two classes for now.
Felix: That's cool you're not giving up on it.
*Ivy blushes*
Ivy: Um…what about you, did you ever go to school?
Felix: *laughs* No, I’m not really the school type.
Ivy: I think you’d be better at it then you think…
*Before Felix can respond they both see something…*
Felix: Oh…that’s…interesting…
Ivy: Whoa.
Felix: Do you know them?
Ivy: No.
Felix: That guy…he looks like the guitarist for this band I used to listen to a lot…until they broke up.
Ivy: It’s not likely he’d be here…come on; let’s go before we…bother them…
*They walk on, but now they are both feeling slightly uncomfortable*
Felix: …
Ivy: …
Felix: Here we are.
Ivy: Thanks again, I really did have fun.
Felix: That was the idea.
*Ivy says nothing but looks at Felix hopefully*
*Felix drops Ivy’s hand abruptly*
Felix: Thanks for coming out with me, Ivy. Good night.
Ivy: Oh…uh…good night then. I’ll see you…later?
Felix: Yeah, I’ll see you.
Ivy: *thinking to herself* That was really nice, I’m glad I went out with him…I sort of wish he would have kissed me good night…but it’s was only our first date so maybe I shouldn’t expect so much…
Ivy: *still thinking* Our first date…or our only date? He didn’t say he wanted to go out again…but maybe I shouldn't worry about that so much...but still...

It might not seem like it, but there kind of a lot going on in this chapter. You sort of have to read between the lines to figure some of it out and I don't think it's overly complicated so I'm not going to say much.
But I will say this so there isn't any confusion...Annike and Lucas are...yeah...making out. It sort of looks like they are sleeping, but they are kissing (Annike's hair kept getting in the way). That's why Ivy and Felix feel a little uncomfortable...you know, public displays of affection and all that. But...Annike and Lucas really need to get a room, sheesh! :P
