Annike: *panting slightly* Okay, Lucas…we should stop…
Lucas: But…why?
Annike: I don’t want to get carried away.
Lucas: *laughs* Too late.
Annike: *sits up and tries to fix her hair* You are a good kisser…too good of a kisser.
Lucas: Thanks…I think.
Annike: You’ve had lots of practice…?
Lucas: I…er…take the fifth.
Annike: *with a smirk* How wise of you.
Lucas: *stands up and offers his hand to Annike* Come on, Nika, lets go home.
Annike: Yeah, I guess we should…but it was fun. *smiles*
*Lucas pulls Annike and holds her close*
Lucas: It was fun. Let’s do it again soon.
Annike: *laughs* Of course! Just…no getting carried away.
Lucas: I wouldn’t dream of it.
Later and Elsewhere…
*Shiloh has just returned home from work*
Hawk: I’ve been waiting for you, did you have good day?
Shiloh: It was…okay.
Hawk: Is something wrong?
Shiloh: No, really. I’m fine.
Hawk: I was thinking, we could plan out that rock climbing trip we were planning this weekend. What do you think?
Shiloh: Oh…about that…I’m not sure I’m up to it this weekend…maybe we can plan it for another weekend.
Hawk: Something is wrong…
Hawk: Are you still feeling sick?
Shiloh: Not sick, I’m just so tired. Right now I just feel like taking a nap.
Hawk: You haven’t been feeling good for a while.
Shiloh: Since that sky diving trip…yeah.
Hawk: Maybe you shouldn’t go sky diving anymore.
Shiloh: No…it can’t be the sky diving. Have you ever heard of anyone getting extended fatigue from sky diving?
Hawk: Well, no.
Shiloh: I think I just have a virus or something and it’s just a coincidence I haven’t felt well since sky diving.
Shiloh: I’m sorry about the rock climbing.
Hawk: Hey now, that doesn’t matter. I just want you to get better. Oh…what if…you… *trails off*
Shiloh: What if I what?
Hawk: Nothing. Come on, I’ll lie down with you…if you don’t mind.
Shiloh: *smiles* That sounds nice.
Hawk: See, I can slow down and relax…sometimes.
Shiloh: *laughs*
*They walk to their room together*
A little while later…
*Shiloh has fallen asleep and is resting peacefully*
Hawk: *thinking* I hope she’s okay and that’s it’s nothing serious…I don’t think I could bear it to lose her now…

Okay, the bit with Annike and Lucas was supposed to appear at the end of the last chapter...but...I forgot, oops. Oh well, I remembered and just tacked it on the beginning of this chapter, which is fine since the second part wasn't very long. The two parts happen on totally different days, I think that might be the only confusing part. Anyway, whatever... :P
