Chapter 252: Making Music
*Ivy is on her way to work when she runs into someone…*
Ivy: Felix…is that you?
*Felix looks up, embarrassed*
Felix: Yeah…er…hi, Ivy.
Ivy: You look different…
Felix: Oh…do I?
*Felix hastily removes his glasses*
Ivy: The glasses…that’s what it is. I didn’t know you even wore them.
Felix: I don’t! I mean…only when I’m reading…and stuff.
Ivy: I think they suit you.
Felix: They do?
Ivy: Yes. But, I didn’t know you played guitar either. I thought you told me you were the drummer in that band you used to be in?
Felix: I was the drummer, and I don’t really play the guitar, at least not very well. I’m only plucking out notes.
Ivy: What are you doing?
Felix: Well…
Felix: I’m trying to write some songs. I wrote a few when I was in that band before, but since getting kicked out I really haven’t wanted to. I liked composing though; I thought I’d try it again.
Ivy: *smiles* Wow…I can only wish to be that talented.
Felix: Knock it off, you are talented.
Felix: I always wanted to make music so I figured I should get back to it. Maybe someday I can make enough money doing this so I can finally quit my job at the club.
Ivy: I didn’t know you wanted to do that.
Felix: Well, in case you haven’t noticed, I don’t talk much about myself.
Ivy: No, you don’t.
Felix: You know more about me then anyone. I feel most comfortable around you.
Ivy: I’m glad.
*Ivy smiles at Felix, it’s obvious she admires him*
Ivy: I’d like to hear your music someday.
Felix: Maybe…but only for you.
*Ivy blushes*
Felix: …
Ivy: …
Ivy: Well…I have to get to work. But it was nice talking to you.
Felix: Yeah. Thanks, Ivy.
Ivy: Bye.
*Ivy gets up to leave, but Felix stops her*
Felix: Ivy…wait…
Ivy: What?
Felix: Please…will you go out with me this weekend? I’d really like to take you out again.
Ivy: You would?
Felix: Yes! Please?
*Ivy isn’t sure, but Felix is still holding tightly to her hand and he looks eager for a positive answer*
Ivy: I’d love to.
Felix: Great! *he smiles widely and Ivy smiles back*

Felix is embarrassed Ivy saw him wearing glasses. :P As if she cares! Anyway, he finally used his brain a bit and decided to ask her out again...more later, of course.
I have a bunch of time today to work on my next TQ photo and I took a bunch of photos to test a few things out. I'm not using any of them for my actual entry but I thought they turned out way too cute to just throw away so I decided to post them up.
Here we have Felix holding up Piper in the air...much like a daddy might do with their daughter. ;)
Again, going with the daddy/daughter theme, I imagined Felix sleeping and Piper coming up and saying, "Daddy, wake up!" This was actually my first idea for the theme but I'm going in a slightly different direction for my real entry. Still, I thought this was so adorable I couldn't just get rid of it.
One more, again with some daddy/daughter love doing on. Of course, Felix is not Piper's daddy (I have never revealed who I intend Piper's daddy to be... :P ), but won't he make a sweet daddy someday? I love the idea of a little girl who has melted her daddy's heart. <3
Anyway, the idea I have is sort of along these lines, but really different then these first test photos. I'm actually going to use these pictures in the background...I hope it turns out how I'm envisioning it. Well, I'd better get back to work on it because I still have a lot to do to set up the actual photo I want to attempt. Hope it works out...
