Chapter 254: Lucky Guy
*Ivy is just returning from work, still feeling happy about her upcoming date with Felix*
Zander: Hey, Ivy! Wait up!
Ivy: Oh…hi, Zander.
Zander: I haven’t seen you in a while…
Ivy: Um…well…
Zander: How are you?
Ivy: I’m doing pretty good, thanks.
Zander: I miss seeing you, you know. Would you like to go out again…this weekend?
Ivy: Oh…that’s nice of you to ask…but I don’t think it’s a good idea.
Zander: I know…I have a bad habit of not ending our dates very well.
*Ivy shrugs*
Zander: Listen, I am sorry about last time. Please, can I make it up to you?
Ivy: I…I don’t think so. But it’s nice of you to ask.
Zander: I know I keep asking for another chance…isn’t there anything I can do to convince you?
Ivy: I’m not mad at you if that’s what you’re worried about.
Zander: Oh good, I’m glad you aren’t mad.
Felix: I suppose I should get going to work…
*Felix looks up and sees Ivy talking to Zander. He watches them with narrowed eyes, but he can’t hear what they are saying…*
Ivy: The thing is…I…well…I already…have a date this weekend.
Zander: Oh…I see.
Ivy: I’m sorry.
Zander: No…it’s okay. I understand. Maybe…another weekend?
Ivy: I don’t know…
Zander: You must really like this guy…
*Ivy blushes*
Zander: Well…he’s a lucky guy. Hopefully he won’t be stupid like me.
Zander: Good luck, Ivy. I mean that.
Ivy: *smiles* Thanks, Zander.
Zander: If it doesn’t work out…doesn’t hesitate to call me.
*Ivy blushes again*
*Felix watches Ivy and Zander part*
Felix: What…was she doing?

First, please note that Felix is not stalking Ivy. He just happened to see her with Zander, and will most likely jump to stupid conclusions, but there is no stalking involved. At least Zander is being pretty nice even though he just got dumped. :P
So...here's my adventure for today. Ike (the hurricane) has changed his mind about going west and is now inching his way toward Houston. Fun (that's sarcasm). Everyone around here is in official "freak out" mode and rushing out to shop and everything. But I'm just sitting here at home because I took care of this earlier this week...just in case. All I had to do is top off my gas tank this morning, and I did it early so I beat the rush. They already canceled school and closed my husband's work for tomorrow. I had to turn off the TV though, it's been Ike, Ike, Ike all morning and while I know it's important for them to keep us all up to date on what's going on, it's not helping my level of tension. I'll check back on it later but I just couldn't take it anymore this morning.
I'll be home all day tomorrow with no where to go and not much to do so I might be able to get another chapter of "House of Pullip" done. No promises though. It's just the storm isn't expected to get here until Saturday and I'll need something to do while we are waiting. I hate the waiting part. If the hurricane is coming I wish it would just get here and do what it's going to do so I can deal with it and move on. The waiting for it is awful though.
Anyway, enough babbling about that. Here is a bonus photo of Bailey and Piper:
They are sitting on a little wooden bench I spray painted white and then forgot about in my garage. :P Well, I found it and and decided to put it to the use I bought it for. Bailey and Piper are waiting anxiously for their new wigs, I hope they look good! :D
