Here is the next installment of "The Matchmaker", I hope you enjoy it. I am especially pleased with how the photos turned out for this part of the story :D Anyway, enjoy!
Part 8:
Oki: So…how did it go with Rayna?
Crispin: I thought you would know that already.
Oki: I don’t watch you all the time, you know.
Crispin: *laughs* I really thought you would be watching.
Oki: I wanted to…but you need your space.
Crispin: My date was fine. Rayna is nice, but I would like to meet some other girls.
Oki: *relieved to hear it* Oh good, I was afraid you might be getting attached to her.
Crispin: Why, is something wrong?
Oki: No, not at all. I just think the idea about other girls is good. Then you can pick the one you like the most…or something.
Crispin: Should I ask Grace out next?
Oki: Well…I’m not sure. See, I don’t know Grace as well as the others, so I’m not sure how you should approach her yet.
Crispin: I should try to get to know her first, good idea. That makes me a little less nervous anyway.
Oki: I tried to find out more about Grace for you…
Crispin: You spied on her?
Oki: I didn’t spy…I just…followed her and watched what she did and who she talked to.
Crispin: *gives Oki an appraising look*
Oki: Okay, I spied.
Crispin: *laughs* Alright, what did you find out?
*Oki tells Crispin what she saw*
Oki: She has met everyone, they all know who she is, but no one seems to know much about her at all.
Oki continues: She spends a lot of time alone….maybe she’s shy, I’m not sure. It may be more than that.
Oki continues: She dotes on her dog, though. They are nearly inseparable.
Crispin: That’s not much to go on.
Oki: No, and I wish I could be more help, but I think she might appreciate a friend. It’s a good place to start anyway.
Crispin: So I shouldn’t ask her out yet?
Oki: No. What if she’s got a boyfriend or something? You need more information first.
Crispin: Good point.
Oki: She walks her dog every afternoon by the same spot. It will be easy for you to find her. Maybe walk with her and just try to get to know her a little.
Crispin: No problem. I know what to do.
To be continued...
