Chapter 275: Where Have You Been?
Hawk: I’m so glad to see you are feeling better.
Shiloh: You and me both. I was getting so tired of feeling sick to my stomach all the time.
Hawk: And you seem happier.
*Shiloh smiles*
Voice: Hey! Hawk, Shiloh…where have you guys been?
*Shiloh and Hawk look up in surprise*
Hawk: Laszlo, what are you doing here?
Laszlo: Looking for you.
Hawk: And you didn’t bother changing after your last jump? *laughs*
Laszlo: Hey, I always wear this. It’s comfortable.
*Hawks continues laughing*
Laszlo: So, Shiloh…still hanging around with this loser?
Shiloh: I’m afraid so.
Laszlo: Too bad.
Laszlo: So, where have you guys been? I always count on you to come sky diving but I haven’t seen you in a few months at least.
Hawk: Sorry, things have been…I mean we’ve been…er…
Shiloh: It’s okay, Hawk, we can tell him.
Laszlo: Tell me what? Is everything okay?
*Shiloh stands up and indicates her belly*
Laszlo: No way…you guys are having a baby?
Shiloh: *smiles* Yes.
Hawk: So, Shiloh can’t go sky diving…and I’m not going without her. We’ll come back when the baby is born.
Laszlo: Wow…that’s fantastic! Congratulations!
Shiloh: Thank you.
Laszlo: Hey, when the little tyke gets big enough you should bring him…or her…around and we’ll teach the squirt to sky dive, too. Make it a family thing.
Shiloh: Er…
Hawk: *laughs* Right, Laszlo…right. You know as well as I do that little kids aren't allowed.
*They all laugh*
Shiloh: Are you hungry, Laszlo? Why don’t you stay for dinner, I’ll go get something now.
Laszlo: That sound great, thanks Shiloh.
Shiloh: Be right back.
Laszlo: She’s really something, Hawk. You must be the luckiest dog I know.
Hawk: Hands off my wife.
Laszlo: I wouldn’t dream to stealing Shiloh away, you know that! I’m just wondering where I might find a nice girl...
Hawk: You can start by not wearing that suit when you aren’t jumping out of planes.
*Laszlo laughs*
Laszlo: This is a nice place you guys live in.
Hawk: Yeah, it’s great here.
Laszlo: You wouldn’t know a girl named Taryn, would you?
Hawk: No, why?
Laszlo: That’s my sister and, ironically, I think she just moved here.
Hawk: I didn’t know you had a sister.
Laszlo: Well, you never asked. She’s been living in Europe for the past few years and she just moved back here. I haven’t seen her much yet because she’s been busy moving in to her new place and finding a job…I was hoping I might run into here while I was looking for you.
Hawk: Sorry I can’t help you more.
Laszlo: Eh, whatever. I’ll catch up with her soon enough.
Hawk: You should move out here, too. There’s room and you might see more of your sister that way.
Laszlo: Not a bad idea…I’ll have to think about that one.
Hawk: Just keep away from Shiloh if you move here or I might have to rearrange your face.
*They laugh again*

Yay, Shiloh and Hawk are back! And, as promised, you can see Shiloh's little baby belly. In real life, her belly would probably be a lot smaller at this point but I didn't want it to be any smaller because then you couldn't really tell. Oh well...this story isn't exactly big in the "realism" area so who cares? :P Her due date is approximately May 1st (just in case you were wondering). Also...aren't you excited about the introduction of Laszlo into the story? ;) He's a friend of Hawk and Shiloh's who takes them sky diving (he also works with Hawk). And he's Taryn's brother...more on that later. :D
Oh...and no, Laszlo is NOT interested in Shiloh, he's just teasing Hawk and they are just having friendly guy banter. He's just wanting what he sees Hawk and Shiloh have...more on that later, too. ;)
Also...along with this chapter I took a few photos of Shiloh...if you read the story then you know why. ;)
She's ready to tell everyone...
...that she's having a baby! You can't tell so much in this photo but she has a little bump going on.
