Yeah, I'm late getting this new chapter of "House of Pullip" up...but I did get it up. :P I hope you enjoy reading it. :D
Chapter 279: Choosing
*Oki returns from putting Penelope down for a nap and finds Crispin deep in thought…with a teddy bear*
Oki: Crispin…are you okay?
Crispin: I’m fine…really…I was just thinking about Penelope.
Oki: *smiles* She told me all about a piggyback ride. That was a wonderful idea, Crispin.
Crispin: She seemed to like it.
Oki: I know she did.
Crispin: She gave me this teddy bear.
Oki: How sweet!
Crispin: She…she called me “Daddy”.
Oki: *surprised* She did?
Crispin: Yes…I told her she didn’t have to call me that, but she wanted to.
Oki: *thoughtful* She hasn’t even called me “Mommy” yet, but I keep hoping she will.
Crispin: It doesn’t bother you that she called me Daddy?
Oki: Oh no, not at all. I’m glad she wants to think of you that way. I’m thrilled to see the two of you getting along. And not only that but…
Oki: …who else do you think I’d want to be her Daddy? She picked you just like I was hoping she would.
Crispin: You want me to be her Daddy?
Oki: Yes!
*hug*
Crispin: Thank you for choosing me.
Oki: I didn’t choose you, Penelope did.
Crispin: You both chose me.
*Oki smiles*
Crispin: She’ll call you “Mommy” soon…I know she will. She loves you.
Oki: I know she does, I can be patient.
Crispin: I still have work to do…but I’m trying like I promised.
Crispin: I still might not be totally comfortable with Penelope for a while, but I think it’s getting better.
Oki: I’m so glad you gave it a try; you did a great job…just like I knew you would.

I don't have any extra photos today, although I should have some tomorrow of Piper. I got her some new eyes. Unfortunately they are too big for her so they will be temporary until I can get her something else, but I thought when I have some light I'd take a photo or two anyway.
