Here is the newest chapter of "House of Pullip", I hope you enjoy it because it's one of my favorites lately. :P
Chapter 289: Magic Doesn't Matter
Ronan: Sabrina, where have you been?
Sabrina: What do you mean where have I been? You’ve been avoiding me!
Ronan: That is not true! I think you have been avoiding me…why?
Sabrina: You don’t want to hang out with me anymore, I’m not magical, remember?
Ronan: I’ve known that all along, it doesn’t matter.
Sabrina: Eventually it will matter, I know it.
Ronan: How can you say that?
Sabrina: Very easily. It’s happened before. I don’t want to get hurt again so it’s better for me to just keep my distance now before I get hurt. I just don’t think I could handle it…especially from you.
Ronan: I would never hurt you.
Sabrina: Maybe not on purpose…
Ronan: Will you listen? I admit, I have been that shallow before, but I’ve learned that there are things that don’t matter…and it’s all because of you. I don’t care if you are magical or not, I just want to be your friend.
Sabrina: You do?
Ronan: How ungrateful would I be if I denied everything you have done for me? If I could give you my magical power in return for your help I would…but you know as well as I do that I can’t do that.
Sabrina: *surprised* Really? You…mean that? I expected you to say I wasn’t missing anything by not being magical or something like that.
Ronan: I value your friendship too much to make light of how you feel by saying things like that.
Sabrina: I…uh…didn’t know you felt that way…
Ronan: Yes! You…you mean more to me…then anything...I mean your friendship. I feel like I’ve been lucky enough to see a side of you that you don’t let many see…I want to see more…I…I want…
Sabrina: …?
*Ronan suddenly kisses her*
Sabrina: *gasp*
Ronan: Oh! Please accept my apologies, Miss…I don’t know what came over me! I…I…oh dear...
Sabrina: Will you shut up for a minute? Don’t apologize…I liked it, okay?
Ronan: Um…you did?
Sabrina: Yes.
Ronan: It’s been a long time since I kissed anyone…
Sabrina: And?
Ronan: It was very nice…
Sabrina: *smiles* Just nice?
Ronan: I said very nice…it was…I…I…
Sabrina: Do you want to do it again?
Ronan: *gulp* Yes.
Sabrina: Then what are you waiting for?
*they kiss again*
To be continued...
Ah...there's more to this part of the story, oh yes! ;) Stay tuned for that!. :D
I'm working on making more chapter of this story and getting ahead so that after Christmas when I go on vacation to visit my in-laws I can keep posting from their house (I did that during Spring Break in March and it worked really well). So hopefully that will work out fine and I won't have to put the story on a brief hiatus.
In other personal dolly news: I decided I'm not going to order a Lati this time around. I really like grown up Laches a lot but I can't justify spending that much on a doll right now (bad timing with Christmas, I'd rather buy for other people). I can wait and I don't want it bad enough. I considered just getting a basic this time, I do still want a Lati from the white line and a Lami, but I'm just not feeling like I really want either of them right now so I'm going to wait. Although...it sucks not being able to take advantage of the discounts they are offering right now on their basics. I wonder if that's just for this ordering period of if they will keep the prices down? Anyway, now is just not the time so no new Lati for me right now and I'm okay with that (I'm still in that happy dolly place where I'm not feeling like I need more). I'm still hoping they will make tan versions again, too...
I'm also thinking of opening an Etsy store in January. I would make Pullip clothing, Lati yellow clothing (and Lati white if I ever got one of my own to use as a model), amigurumi, and plush animals...so a little bit of everything. Oh, maybe even a few Taeyang clothing pieces if I can figure that out, I'm planning on trying a few things this week when I have time. I'm not thinking I would spend all my time stocking the store, but just making things as I get in the mood and then offering them up for sale. My husband needs a little convincing, but I think he'll come around if I talk about it enough. He supports my sewing efforts so if a store is workable I think he'd like the idea.
