I'm sorry, I had planned on taking a few photos for the one photo request I got. However, I'm pretty busy this week with some stuff I'm doing for my kids' elementary school yearbook. I have a deadline to meet and (brief rant ahead) the editor has not emailed the photos I'm suppose to have to finish my work...she said she would send them last Friday...*sigh*
Anyway, I did have time to get this story installment done since it was already written beforehand and it was nice to take a break from all this yearbook stuff and take the photos. I'm not sure how much longer the story will be and I'm not sure yet exactly how it's going to end...heh! However, when this story is over I'm planning a very long story that will involve many characters and have a long series of multiple events. I've decided writing stories like that is more fun. I like this "Matchmaker" story, but I wish the plot wasn't so singular.
So, here is is, I hope you enjoy it :D
Part 11:
*Paige is out wandering in the yard when she sees Crispin alone and he clearly has a lot on his mind*
Paige: Crispin?
Crispin: Oh…hi, Paige. I didn’t see you there.
Paige: Are you okay? You look…distracted.
Crispin: I was kind of deep in thought. I’m okay; I just have a lot on my mind.
*Paige waits for him to say something else, Crispin still seems preoccupied*
*Paige sits*
Paige: Crispin…I know it’s not really my business, but does this have anything to do with Oki?
Crispin: *that gets his attention* Oki? How do you know about her? She said only I could see her.
Paige: I am a half fairy, she can’t hide from me…I’ve met her and talked to her a little.
Crispin: Oh, that’s right. She said you might see her.
Paige: So, is this matchmaking stuff getting you down?
Crispin: No, not really.
Paige: Why did you agree to have her help you anyway?
Crispin: *shrugs* Who wouldn’t want the chance to find love?
Paige: Heh, I guess you are right.
Paige: Are you sure the matchmaking isn’t bothering you? It can be…tedious.
Crispin: Maybe it’s not as easy as I thought it would be, but I have made some nice friends so it can’t be that bad.
Paige: That’s a good way of looking at it.
Crispin: And it is taking a long time…I just need to be patient. I told Oki I would be.
Paige: You’ll meet that special girl soon, I know it.
Crispin: Well…
Paige: Well what?
Crispin: I think I have met a special girl…I…think I like someone.
Paige: That’s great Crispin!
Crispin: But…
Paige: But what? Is there a problem?
Crispin: I don’t know how to tell Oki, I’m afraid it won’t fit into her plan. I don’t know how she will react if I tell her.
Paige: Crispin, you need to follow your heart and trust your own feelings. If you like someone then you should pursue it, with or without the help of a matchmaking pixie. Oki will get over it even if it disturbs her plan.
Crispin: I know you are right, I’m just not sure exactly what to do. That’s what’s on my mind.
Paige: You’ll figure it out.
Crispin: Thanks, Paige. Really, I appreciate your advice.
Paige: No problem.
Crispin: I’m going to take a walk now…I still need time to think.
Paige: See you later.
*Crispin walk off*
Paige: *sigh* I may need to have a word with that little pixie…
To be continued...
Also, I am still interested in hearing your Pullip-related photo requests. Please comment if there is a particular doll you would like to see or a photo taken in a particular way...or anything Pullip related that you are interested in :D
