Chapter 304: Sold
Lucas: Congrats, man! How does it feel to finally sell your first song?
Felix: I don’t know. It doesn’t seem real yet.
Lucas: It will, and you know they want more songs so you better get used to it.
Felix: Thanks for your help…really. Now I just have to decide if I can quit my job yet and work on my songs full time…
Lucas: There’s time for that later. You should celebrate. Take your girlfriend out for a nice dinner.
Felix: I don’t have a girlfriend.
Lucas: What about that girl with the green hair you are always hanging around with?
Felix: Oh…Ivy. Yeah, she’s a girl I’ve been dating. We’re just not…exclusive.
Lucas: Well, take her out then, I’m sure she’d have fun celebrating with you.
Felix: If I’m going to celebrate I’d rather do it with someone else…
Lucas: Who?
Felix: *talking to himself mainly* I mean, she’s the one who encouraged me to share my music…without her I’d still be afraid to show anyone…she just really seemed to understand what I was feeling.
Lucas: Wait…she? Another girl?
Felix: *sigh* I know, you don’t have to tell me…I know I’m a jerk.
Lucas: I wasn’t going to say that, you told me yourself that you and this Ivy chick aren’t exclusive so it’s no big deal.
Felix: Still…I just don’t think it’s right to be thinking of one girl when you are with another. I feel obligated to Ivy.
Lucas: Hey man, I think you are making a bigger deal out of this then you need to.
Felix: But I want to make it work with Ivy…it’s just…I keep thinking about this other girl and…wondering…what it would be like…
Lucas: You’ll never know that if you don’t give it a try.
Felix: But it’s so…wrong. I don’t want to hurt Ivy.
Lucas: Well…I’m no expert on these kinds of things…er…just ask my girlfriend. But I think you’ll hurt Ivy more if you aren’t honest with her. If you want to see other people just say so. If you aren’t exclusive, like you say, then she really can’t get mad.
Felix: Yeah…
Lucas: Do you like Ivy?
Felix: Yes, I do. But…this other girl…I felt like we had a connection. I was hoping I might find that connection with Ivy…but so far…I don’t know.
Lucas: Well, I don’t know what you are waiting for then.
Felix: What do you mean?
Lucas: I mean you should take this other girl out. Maybe she’s better for you then Ivy.
Felix: I…don’t know…
Lucas: Something to think about anyway.
Felix: Yeah…I’ll think about it…that, and the job thing…
Lucas: You have too much to think about.
*They laugh*

So, yay! Felix sold a song. :) And we also know what he really thinks of Taryn. :o Whether or not he takes Lucas's advice though remains to be seen. More soon, of course. ;)
Speaking of things that are sold, I sold Paige to jenspullips. :D I just shipped her out today. Madison and Annike are on hold...and I think Roxanne and Lucas are too, not totally sure about that just yet. This, of course, will create a large number of changes in my story but I think it will be interesting...I hope. :P
Also, I got marryth's Christmas gift in the mail yesterday! Bailey is wearing it...
It's a cute red and green dress, it looks good with her hair I think.
The dress came with a headband but I had trouble getting it on Bailey's head. :P So I put it on Piper instead...and I think it's great on her. :D
I'm still waiting on Piper's new eyes, they should get here anytime now...
