Photo Story, "The Matchmaker: Part 12"

Part 12:
Paige: *calls out* Oki! Are you here? Please, I need to talk to you!
*no response*
Paige: *calls out again* Oki!
*sees fluffy pink hair in the distance*
Paige: Oki, is that you?
*still no response, Paige goes to investigate*
*Paige finds Oki*
Paige: Oki, didn’t you hear me calling you? We need to talk.
Oki: *sniff* Okay…
*Paige sits by Oki*
Paige: Oki…about Crispin…
Oki: I know what you are going to say, and you are right. I messed up and I feel terrible. *is clearly depressed*
Paige: Well… *sees how upset Oki is, decides to go easy on her* …I was sort-of going to tell you that. But you know, Crispin isn’t upset at all, so maybe you are taking this harder than you need to.
Oki: I’m so stupid. I gave up matchmaking years ago…I swore I’d never do it again. But then I saw Crispin and I couldn’t help it, I just had to help him! What’s wrong with me? Can’t I learn to just let things be?
Paige: Why don’t you just let him off the hook then?
Oki: I tried, but for some reason that I can’t understand, he still wants my help!
Paige: Like I said, I think you are taking this too hard. It’s not as bad as you think.
Oki: I just don’t understand…
Paige: What?
Oki: Why Crispin hasn’t been taken already! I mean, he’s really wonderful…nice, remarkably kind, forgiving, open, honest, fun, easy to talk to…I could go on, but you get the idea. Why is it so hard to help him find a girlfriend?
Paige: You forgot to mention that he’s very good looking.
Oki: Yes, he is handsome, but he’s so much more attractive on the inside. The fact that he’s also gorgeous on the outside is just a nice bonus. *sigh*
Paige: I see… *narrows her eyes at Oki*
Oki: I told him I’d try to think of a new plan but I’ve been sitting here for hours and I can’t think of anything…
*Something clicks in Paige’s brain and her mouth drops open*
Paige: You…you’re…in love with him!
Oki: What?!?
Paige: You are! Don’t deny it!
Oki: But…I’m not! Matchmakers aren’t supposed to fall in love with the people they are helping to find a match!
Paige: Wait…I remember something about pixies now that I forgot before…matchmaking pixies don’t usually make themselves known to the people they are trying to help make a match…why did you reveal yourself to Crispin and tell him what you were doing?
Oki: *shakes her head fervently* No…it’s not like that…I swear!
Paige: Honey, it’s nothing to feel bad about. There’s nothing wrong with falling in love.
Oki: *highly distressed* I already told you, I can’t fall in love with someone I’m helping to make a match. If I do, I can never do matchmaking again!
Paige: You already said you’d given it up before you saw Crispin, what do you have to lose?
Oki: *whispers* Paige…I can’t…
*Oki sobs once and then runs away*
Paige: Oki, come back! Let’s talk about this!
*Oki does not return*
Paige: *shakes her head* That silly pixie. I’m sure she likes him…I just hope I didn’t scare her away…
