Here is the newest chapter of "House of Pullip", hope you like it. :D
Chapter 314: Double Date
*Taryn and Felix meet up for their second date*
Felix: Is this where we are meeting your brother?
Taryn: Yeah, he’s probably running a little late to meet his date and bring her here.
Felix: Do you know who she is?
Taryn: Nope, I haven’t met her yet. I hope she’s nice, my brother deserves someone nice.
Felix: I’m sure she is. Let's sit down.
Felix: You look nice.
Taryn: Thank you.
Felix: So, what are we doing on this double date?
Taryn: I don't know. Laszlo has is all figured out.
Taryn: Speaking of Laszlo…he is really running late now…I wonder where he is?
Felix: I can wait.
Taryn: Oh, so can I.
Felix: I mean, I’m here…with you. I can wait as long as I have to.
Taryn: You’re very sweet.
Felix: I try.
Taryn: Waiting with you is nice…
*They lean closer to each other…*
Felix: …
Taryn: …
Voice: *clears throat* Ahem…
Laszlo: *smirks* Are we interrupting something.
Felix: *lets go of Taryn and jumps up* No…no…you aren’t interrupting anything.
Taryn: ???
Laszlo: This is Ivy.
Taryn: Hi, Ivy. Nice to meet you.
Ivy and Felix: *speechless*
Taryn: I’m Taryn, Laszlo’s sister. This is Felix, he’s my date.
Ivy: We’ve met.
Taryn: Oh…
*an uncomfortable silence follows*
Laszlo: Well, um…should we go then?
To be continued...
When Felix jumped away from Taryn, Laszlo just assumed it was because of him being Taryn's brother...but really, Felix was totally embarrassed that Ivy just saw him getting awfully close to Taryn. :P Ivy's still not totally over Felix (although she is trying to move on) so seeing him like that did not make her happy. Also, it's important to keep in mind that neither Taryn or Laszlo have any that Ivy and Felix knew each, much less that they used to date or only recently stopped seeing each other, so they have no idea what's going on. More awkwardness in the next chapter. ;)
Random note: Like how the "famous brick" hogged the shot in the first photo? Lol!
Got to get back to my sewing projects now. I'm making those little ruffled shirts with bloomers for my future Etsy store. It's interesting how much more careful I am when I'm making stuff I intended to sell as opposed to making stuff that's just for me. :P So, it's taking me a little longer then usual. I have the first five shirts nearly done, but I might remake one of them. Then I'll get to the bloomers to finish them up before I move on to some other design. I'm just trying to decide how many items I should start with, because I don't want to make too much in case it doesn't sell. Also...I'm a little nervous about selling because I don't know if my stuff is "good enough" and I'm not sure how much to charge knowing that my stuff isn't perfect (like any handmade thing). I'm trying not to stress about this too much...but still...
