Chapter 318: Now What?
*Felix is walking Taryn to work*
Taryn: Thanks for walking me to work today.
Felix: Can I see you after work?
Taryn: I’d like that…
Taryn: …but I really think I should try to find Laszlo after work and see how he’s doing. I haven’t seen him in a while so I’m a little worried.
Felix: Oh, okay.
Taryn: I should probably talk to him about…some things…you know...
Felix: *confused* Er…I don’t know…
Taryn: Well…I just thought he should know a little about what you told me the other day…if that’s okay with you.
Felix: Oh, you mean about Ivy.
Taryn: Yeah.
Felix: I don’t mind. I hope he gives her a chance…and she gives him a chance. They could be good for each other and I'd like to see her happy.
Taryn: It’s just, I was so confused during that date, I’m sure he was, too, and just wanted to make sure he knew what was going on.
Felix: Good idea.
Taryn: And it will probably go over better coming from me.
Felix: No doubt about that. Can I see you another time then?
Taryn: I’m counting on it…
Meanwhile…
*Ivy is confiding in Sabrina*
Sabrina: That has to be the worst date I’ve ever heard of.
Ivy: Oh, it was! I’ve never been so uncomfortable in my life.
Sabrina: But what about the guy?
Ivy: Do you mean Laszlo?
Sabrina: Yes, the purple-headed guy.
Ivy: What about him?
Sabrina: Do you think you’ll go out with him again? I think you should.
Ivy: No way! His sister is that girl Felix is seeing now…
Sabrina: So?
Ivy: So…if I hang out with him I’ll have to hang out with her…and probably Felix. I don’t want to see him.
Sabrina: Listen, I don’t like Felix much, you know that. But it seems a little off to me that you would blame this other guy for how Felix treated you.
Ivy: …
Sabrina: Give the guy a chance, Ivy.
Ivy: Oh no…
Sabrina: What?
Ivy: I did blame Laszlo.
Sabrina: Oh…
Ivy: Why did I do that? I never learn!

So Ivy is realizing that maybe she shouldn't have blamed Laszlo? Well, we'll see... ;)
Babbling:
The store is a go! YAY! I'm so excited, but it's still going to take a while to get it all set up but I'm hoping to get it done by the end of the week, or by the weekend if I can. I need to make a store banner, think of a store name (yeah...haven't done that yet), and take pictures of all the stuff I have ready to sell (because I haven't done that yet either). Anyway, I don't care that I still have work to do, I'm just happy that the store is going to happen. I also have a few more projects in progress so I'll have more to add to it, too.
It's going to be a good dolly week...oh yes, it is. :D How do I know? Well, Lami is in the country and has cleared customs so she should arrive shortly. Possibly tomorrow, but more likely on Wednesday. Then, I just checked my email and Lati sent me a shipping notice for my tiny white Arin! Last time Lati shipped it took four days so I could possibly be getting two new dollies by the end of the week. I feel so spoiled... :P
EDIT: I totally forgot to mention this (not dolly related), I took my kids to see "Coraline" after school today. Holy crap...best movie I've seen in a really, really long time. It was fantastic! I got the book from the library last week to read and was really intrigued, the movie really is a very well done book-to-movie adaptation. Also, we saw it in the 3D...amazing. Really, it was beautifully done! I love having great film experiences like this. I saw lots of 3D movies when I was a kid, but those were total cheese compared to this. Seriously, I highly recommend "Coraline" to everyone...go see it now!
