First up, the newest chapter of "House of Pullip". :D
Chapter 320: Girl Talk
Rayna: Hi, Grace. Is Jonas around? I was hoping to talk to him about…something.
Grace: No, he had some things he needed to do. *sigh*
Rayna: Is something wrong?
Grace: Can I ask you a few things…about Jonas?
Rayna: Sure…
Grace: Is he…anti-marriage?
Rayna: *surprised* I don’t know. I don’t think I’ve ever discussed that with him. Why?
Grace: Just something he said earlier today made me think he might be.
Rayna: Oh…
Grace: I love Jonas.
Rayna: I know you do, and he loves you. He always tells me you’re the best thing that ever happened to him.
Grace: I just thought he would want to marry me…sometime soon. But now I don’t think so.
Rayna: He is a little slow…
Grace: I like that about him; he takes his time and doesn’t rush into anything. He’s afraid to take chances though.
Rayna: That’s true.
Grace: I never thought I’d want to get married again, but I want to marry Jonas. He seems happy just keeping things the way they are.
Rayna: You’re ready to move forward.
Grace: Yes, and I want to have children…but Jonas doesn’t seem interested in that either.
Rayna: He said that?
Grace: Pretty much, yes.
Rayna: *mutters* Oh…Jonas… *shakes her head*
Grace: I’m not getting any younger…I can’t deny it…who knows if I can even have children anymore…I’m tired of waiting…
Rayna: I could talk to him if you want.
Grace: No…really…thank you, but this is probably something I need to work out with Jonas myself.
Rayna: You’re probably right. I won’t mention it.
Grace: I appreciate that.
Rayna: And I’m sorry, Grace. Jonas is my best friend and he’s a great guy…but even I know how clueless and slow he is sometimes.
Grace: I’m just afraid we might be moving in different directions…that we want different things…and I didn’t realize it until now.
Rayna: I hope not.
Grace: I hope not, too…
To be continued...
Just a little story background refresher: Grace is a widow, she was once married before. Her husband is now deceased, but before he died they were hoping to have children together...they just never had the chance. So Grace has been waiting a long time to have children and really wants to be a mother. That might help understand her frustration about her situation a little more.
Madeline's new wig came...but I'm not sure about it. Here's a photo:
It's dark brown, I thought it was going to be lighter but I suppose that's my mistake. When I first put it on her I HATED it. Really hated it. I played with it a little and put in the pigtails, I like it much better now...I'm just still not totally sure.
Here's a close up shot of Madeline in the new wig. It is cute...
For grins I tried Piper's wig on Madeline. That's cute, too. :D
Since I "borrowed" Piper's wig (maybe temporarily, maybe not) I put the new wig on Piper. I did not like the pigtails on her so I took them out and put on her lace headband instead and them played with the style (it's mohair so it's very style-able...if that's a word). Anyway, this is really different for Piper but I sort of like it. Maybe it will grow on me...maybe I'll just put her other wig back on. I don't know.
So here is Madeline (left) in the blond wig and Piper (right) in the new dark brown wig. Who know if I will leave them this way, or switch them back, I'm just having fun with it right now. I might try to get another wig in lighter brown like I meant to in the first place...but I really don't want to do that right now. Anyway... :D
Side note: They are wearing new shoes that I ordered along with the wig, so that's fun (and less frustrating, ha ha :P ). I have another pair, but I'll photograph those later.
