I'm back! And with a new chapter of "House of Pullip", please enjoy. :D

Chapter 337: Things To Do

*Ivy and Laszlo are hanging out*
Laszlo: Are you enjoying yourself?
Ivy: Well…yes…
Laszlo: But…?
Ivy: But…nothing.

Laszlo: I’m just saying that because you're quiet. Maybe that’s just the way you are, but it makes it hard to tell if you are having fun or not.
Ivy: I’m sorry.
Laszlo: Don’t apologize.

Laszlo: It’s just…it’s like…you think what you have to say isn’t important enough to say so you don’t say it.
Ivy: *blush* Yeah, I guess I feel that way sometimes. It’s hard to talk to people and I’m afraid of being…boring.
Laszlo: You aren’t boring, trust me.

Laszlo: I’d like to take you out again. Would you like that?
Ivy: *smiles* Yes, I would.
Laszlo: If you are available this weekend then we can make some plans.
Ivy: That sounds nice.

Laszlo: But…I’ll only go if you promise me something first.
Ivy: Okay…
Laszlo: Promise me you won’t be afraid to talk to me. I don’t bite…really.
*Ivy looks nervous*
Laszlo: Do you promise?
Ivy: I’ll try.
Laszlo: I’ll hold you to that then.

Meanwhile…

Taryn: You didn’t have to stay with me at work the whole time.
Felix: I know…I just hope I wasn’t bothering you.
Taryn: I wasn’t complaining. It was nice to have company…especially your company.
Felix: It was nice but I won’t be able to do that every day.

Taryn: Of course, I understand that. Sometimes it gets really busy and I wouldn’t really be able to pay much attention to you anyway.
Felix: I just wanted to see you, I’m glad you didn’t mind.
*Taryn smiles*
Felix: But speaking of getting work done…I really need to work on some new songs. I’ve put it off a little too long.

Taryn: I think I knew that was coming. You should go work, I can see you tomorrow.
Felix: Oh…you can stay if you want, that’s fine. I worked with you there before and I didn’t get too distracted.
*They laugh a little*
Taryn: Are you sure?
Felix: I’m sure…I don’t mean to sound needy but I’m not ready to give you up for today yet.

Taryn: I can’t really say no to that. I can draw while you work. I have my stuff in my bag.
Felix: My stuff is in my room.
Taryn: I can wait here while you get it if you want.
Felix: Well…it would be easier to work in my room if you don’t mind. We can just hang out there.

Felix: I need to play a lot of music out loud and I feel self-conscious doing it outside where everyone can hear me. I need the privacy…but I don’t mind if you listen.
Taryn: That sounds really relaxing actually. It’ll be more comfortable then sitting on this brick on the back porch.
Felix: *laughs* Yeah.

Taryn: I’ll admit…I’m curious to see your room…
Felix: It’s nothing special…and…a little messy.
Taryn: *teases* Now I’m even more curious.
Felix: *sarcastic* Great…let’s go then.

To be continued...

Laszlo is actually similar to Felix, they both see more in Ivy then she sees in herself. Laszlo just lacks a few issues Felix has (that Ivy couldn't really handle but Taryn can...that's not saying I mean anything bad about Ivy, she's just different).

Like how Taryn made a joke about the "famous" brick? :P We will actually see Felix's room in the next chapter, that should be fun.

For fun I took a photo of Taryn and Felix, but not a sappy romantic one like I usually do:

Since I still have a pair of Panda's glasses with no one wearing them I decided to see what Taryn looked like with them on. I don't think they look half bad, but I won't have her wearing them permanently (I like her face up too much) but maybe she can wear them occasionally like Felix's wears his. :D

In other news, my weekend was really long. I was gone for two whole days on a church youth trip (my husband and I were chaperoning). I had to sleep on the ground for one night--or not sleep would probably be more accurate. I'm exhausted, sunburned, and yesterday I had a throbbing headache...but it was totally worth it. We had an amazing time.

I guess we were celebrating now by demolishing our kitchen to install new counter tops. Okay...maybe "celebrate" is the wrong word, but we did tear our kitchen apart earlier. The counter tops that came in our kitchen when we bought it are the most worthless things ever. I don't know who installed them, but I hope some former owner of this house did not pay a "professional" to do it because if they did they got ripped off big-time. Whoever installed the (now ripped out) counter tops did not bother to put any plywood underneath so the counter tops ended up warped and sagging by the time we bought the house. Eventually, because of the sagging the counter tops starting to crack clean through in some places. We been saving up this whole time and waiting to replace them because we wanted to do granite. However, a huge crack on our island formed a few weeks ago that goes across the entire surface. We needed to do it sooner rather then later, but don't have enough to do granite...bummer. We are doing tile instead and my husband can install that himself, with some help from me. Let's just hope I don't go insane by the end of the week because our house is a construction zone (I'm hiding in the bedroom now... :P ). Fun, huh?
