Chapter 339: Inspiration
*It’s late, Taryn and Felix are still working quietly together*
*Felix plays a song on his guitar he has been working on, Taryn stops drawing and listens intently*
*Felix finishes the song and is thinking about it*
Taryn: That song you just played…it was beautiful.
Felix: *glances at her* You liked it?
Taryn: Very much.
Felix: You inspired it.
Taryn: You’re just saying that.
Felix: I’m not.
Felix: Remember that song you found and gave back to me?
Taryn: Yeah.
Felix: That was the first song you inspired. It…didn’t turn out very well. I’m no lyricist. But I followed your advice and kept working on it. I took the words out because I just didn’t know how to express them right and concentrated on the music because…well, I know how to express that.
*Taryn doesn’t say anything*
Felix: What are you thinking?
Taryn: It really was beautiful.
Felix: I’m still working on it.
Taryn: I wonder what the song would say if there were words?
Felix: Oh…well…it would say that…I love you.
*Taryn is quiet again, Felix fidgets his hands*
Taryn: Really?
Felix: Yes.
Taryn: *comes closer and whispers in Felix’s ear* I love you, too.
Felix: It’s not too soon to say that?
Taryn: I don’t see why not.
*Felix pulls her close and kisses her*
Taryn: I’m so sorry, I’m distracting you…I said I wouldn’t.
Felix: Pfft…who cares?
*Taryn laughs*
*They kiss some more*

Yep, more sappy romantic-ness...because I just really can't help it. :P I loved Felix's room so much I might use it again it an upcoming chapter, we'll see. For now, I hope you enjoyed it.
With the kitchen under construction it's been hard to get back to the sewing (I set up most of my sewing stuff in the kitchen) but I finally managed to set it up in the family room and get a few things done. First, here is another new outfit I just finished up for Penelope:
It's just like the pink one I made her earlier, just blue this time (which I really wanted to match her blue eyes).
FYI--I have two new outfits (like the one above) for Lati White SP I will be listing later today at Etsy Store, so check that out if you are interested. I *think* the clothes might also fit Puki, but I can't be sure since I don't have a Puki...yet. :P
Also, while making the outfits for Lati white SP I messed up on three pairs of bloomers and made them much too large. However, they were a perfect fit for Lati yellow. It's nice when an error like that actually works out okay in the end. I'm going to work next on tops to go with the bloomers and add those to my store as soon as I can, hopefully by tomorrow. :D
Speaking of the kitchen, the tile counter tops are being grouted right now. They look so good, I'm so happy with how well my husband did on them. It's still going to be a bit before it's totally done, but if my husband had not had this whole week off it would have taken way, way longer.
