Chapter 345: Judgment
Jonas: I can’t believe you’re leaving…
Rayna: I warned you it might happen.
Jonas: But do you have to leave now? Just when I need you most?
Rayna: You’ll be fine, Jonas.
Jonas: I already feel so alone. If you leave I don’t know what I’ll do.
Rayna: Listen to me…it’s very important…
Rayna: You have to learn how to move on with your life regardless of other people. Your happiness can’t always depend on other people.
*Jonas sulks*
Rayna: I promise to keep in touch. You’ve been the best friend I could ask for, Jonas, I won’t just cut you off.
Jonas: I hope you enjoy your trip.
Rayna: Thank you…I will miss you.
Jonas: We’ll see each other again, I know it. Don’t stay away too long…
Elsewhere…
*Felix arrives at “The Sweet Shoppe”, Kiki and Sebastian are there*
Kiki: Oh, hello Felix! Taryn isn’t here. She isn’t supposed to come in for a few hours yet.
Felix: I know…she’s still sleeping. Can you help me?
Kiki: Of course.
Felix: I want to get her something nice. I want to get back so when she wakes up I can give it to her…I want her to know how special she is to me.
Kiki: Oh…that’s sweet! I’d love to help; did you have anything in particular in mind?
Felix: Flowers are nice…what about these? *he points to the flowers on display*
Kiki: Those are mine, but I might be able to find you some that are like those.
Sebastian: *sighs* There are some fresh flowers in the back. May I suggest a single red rose? It means “I love you”.
Kiki: Good idea, will you grab that for me, Sebastian?
*Sebastian steps into the back to get the flowers and returns*
Felix: That’s perfect.
Kiki: You can have it…free of charge.
Felix: Wow, thank you!
Sebastian: Just a moment.
Kiki: Is something wrong?
Sebastian: If you really want it to be special then allow me to put a spell on it so it will never die.
Felix: You can do that?
Sebastian: Indeed. *he waves his hand over the flower* It is done.
Felix: Thanks, this is great.
*Felix runs out of the store with his flower for Taryn*
Kiki: Aw...that was nice of you.
Sebastian: Hmmmm…I am not sure I approve…
Kiki: Of what?
Sebastian: Those two…together…that way. *he shakes his head*
Kiki: What…because they slept together?
Sebastian: It is inappropriate.
Kiki: Sebastian! It isn’t any of your business.
Sebastian: I suppose not but I still do not like it.
Kiki: Well, thankfully for them, what you think doesn’t matter. You have no idea how happy Taryn is with Felix. They are adults. They can do what they want.
Sebastian: It is a quite fast, do you not agree?
Kiki: Everyone needs to do what’s right for them. Just because you are slow does not mean they should be, too.
Sebastian: You are becoming angry.
Kiki: Yes, I am! You’re putting down my friends when they are happy…and I didn’t know you were so judgmental…I don’t know what to think. I’m jealous, too…
Sebastian: Jealous? Of who?
Kiki: Taryn.
Sebastian: Why?
Kiki: She found someone she wants to be with and he obviously wants to be with her. So they are together…now. Why should they wait? They seem so happy…I wish I had that.
Sebastian: You aren’t happy?
Kiki: I am happy, I’m just tired of waiting.
Sebastian: *irritated* Kiki, we have been through this before…
Kiki: I know and I don’t want to go through it again. I’m trying to give you time and I feel like I’ve been patient. I just wish you’d try to see things for my perspective for once.
Sebastian: It is not that simple.
Kiki: Whatever. I have a lot of work to do today, maybe you should go now so I can get to it.
Sebastian: But…
Kiki: Not now…please!
Sebastian: As you wish.
*Sebastian leaves*
Kiki: *sighs* Sometimes I just don’t think he gets it…maybe I’m not being patient enough…I just don’t know…

I love the last photo of Rayna and Jonas, it's just nice when a guy and girl are really good friends like that.
Kiki has wanted what Taryn has with Felix for a while now, she can't help but feel jealous that Taryn got it so much faster then she did. Yes, Sebastian is being very judgmental, it's the way he is. Kiki just hasn't seen this side of him yet and it was time she did. Plus, there is a reason he is being slow about making up his mind about when he wants to commit to Kiki in a permanent kind of way...I'm getting there...eventually. ;)
PS--My pointy Obistu finger hand came from Junky Spot (along with my future Dita's body)...Kiki was the first one to use it, did you notice? :P
