Chapter 351: A Few Years Later...
Penelope: Mommy, Piper won’t give me the teddy bear!
Piper: I’m playing with it!
Oki: Penelope, wait your turn, honey.
*Penelope pouts*
Oki: Bailey, dear, don’t you want to come down and play with us?
Bailey: I’m reading.
Oki: *smiles* Of course you are.
*Bailey buries herself in her book again*
*Shiloh enters*
Piper: *drops teddy bear* Mommy!
Shiloh: Hi, sweetie. Are you ready to go home? Daddy’s waiting.
Piper: Yay!
Shiloh: Thanks so much for watching her, Oki.
Oki: You know it’s never a problem.
Shiloh: Bailey, your Daddy is on his way, he’ll be here soon.
*Bailey nods but keeps reading*
Shiloh: Bye, everyone.
Oki: See you tomorrow, Piper.
*Penelope snatches up the teddy bear*
Penelope: Mommy, why are Piper and Bailey bigger then me? I’m older!
Oki: You’re a pixie, dear. I’ve told you this before. You don’t grow as fast as humans. You better get used to being small.
*Penelope pouts again*
*Wolfgang enters*
Bailey: *finally closing her book* Daddy!
Wolfgang: How’s my girl?
*Wolfgang sweeps Bailey up in his arms*
Wolfgang: Oki, sorry I’m late again…work…
Oki: I keep telling you, it’s not a problem. It’s not like Bailey is what I would call “high maintenance” anyway.
Wolfgang: Thank you, you’ve been a great help.
Oki: It’s my pleasure.
Bailey: Bye-bye, Miss Oki.
Wolfgang: How was your book?
Bailey: I liked it…but I’m done. Can I have another one?
Wolfgang: We’ve got plenty; we’ll find a good one for you when we get home…but not until after dinner.
Bailey: Daddy?
Wolfgang: Yes?
Bailey: Where is my Mommy?
Wolfgang: …

So...yes...the story just made a fairly significant jump. Piper was only just born a few chapter ago and now she around four-ish years old (I don't do exact ages in my story...for anyone). Also, Bailey is Wolfgang and Roxanne's child, but Roxanne is no longer around. I will be explaining that in the next chapter when Wolfgang attempts to answer Bailey difficult question. In the next few chapter we will be catching up with other characters as well to see how much has changed, or how much it has stayed the same. I have a few surprises up my sleeve to stay tuned! :D
PS--Oki has been promoted from house pet-sitter to house day-care provider. :P
Also, of course, I HAD to take a few more photos of Tati (that's what I've been calling Tatiana for short). This time I was playing around with her optional hands. She doesn't have the magnet systems to change them but the hook system is not hard to use:
You...yes, you...well, I don't know why she is pointing at you, but she is. :P
I love these hands! She came with two of them, which I didn't expect. I was having fun with this photo, and I love it, but I really have no idea what she is doing. ^.^
Just hanging out on the back patio. :D
