Here it is, the newest chapter of "House of Pullip".
Chapter 352: Missing Mommy
Wolfgang: I told you before, Bailey. Your Mommy died when you were a baby.
Bailey: Is she coming back?
Wolfgang: No…it’s just…
*Shelby and Toby enter…with a baby*
Toby: Hey there, Wolfgang and Bailey.
Wolfgang: Hi, how are you?
Shelby: Just taking a walk with little Eli here. How about you two?
Wolfgang: Dinner.
Shelby: Maybe I can bring Eli over later, he likes playing with Bailey.
Wolfgang: I think Bailey would like that.
*Bailey smiles*
Shelby: Sounds good.
Toby: We won’t keep you from your dinner.
Wolfgang and Bailey: Bye!
Bailey: *sigh* Eli has a Mommy. Piper and Penelope have Mommies. I wish I had one.
Wolfgang: I know…let’s sit down here; we need to talk about this.
*Wolfgang pulls a photo out of his pocket*
Wolfgang: This is your Mommy…you have a picture like this in your room.
Bailey: I know…but I don’t know her. Did she love me?
Wolfgang: Oh, she loved you. She named you herself.
Bailey: Why did she have to die?
Wolfgang: I don’t know, honey. I didn’t want her to die. But it’s not something you can stop or change.
Wolfgang: But listen to me, this is important. She wouldn’t have left us if she had a choice. I know she’d rather be here still with us, going to dinner and reading our books.
Bailey: Maybe we should get a new Mommy?
Wolfgang: Well…er…it’s not that easy.
Bailey: Why not?
Wolfgang: It’s hard to explain…
*Bailey waits for him to explain*
Wolfgang: Bailey, we should go eat dinner. Then we can find you another book.
Bailey: Okay, Daddy.

I really didn't want to be this...morbid...but I couldn't think of a better, and more permanent, explanation. Roxanne would never leave Wolfgang and Baily willingly, that just didn't fit the character I created for her. Allison gave me a few suggestions (which were really good, thank you) but I couldn't really picture that for Roxanne and Wolfgang either. There is more to exactly what happened to Roxanne, but he's a good Dad and he's not going to give Bailey all those details at such a young age. I will get more into that later, but those details aren't important right now. In the next chapter I will moving on to other things but you can bet we'll see more of Wolfgang and Bailey around soon (he has to think about Bailey's "new Mommy" suggestion, he's really not sure about that one). :P
I was going to take some additional photos today but I'm not feeling all that well. I'm actually lucky I got the photo story up at all. So, I'm just going to call it good and do the other photos another day...when I feel better.
