Chapter 356: Take Credit
Shiloh: Hi there, Wolfgang. Where is Bailey?
Wolfgang: She’s over playing with Eli for a little while.
Shiloh: Ah, well, I went shopping for Piper today and picked up a few things for Bailey, too.
Wolfgang: As usual.
Shiloh: Well, I don’t mind doing it.
Wolfgang: I didn’t mean to sound unappreciative.
Shiloh: *smiles* I know. The receipt is tucked in there somewhere.
Wolfgang: I’ll pay you back by tomorrow.
Wolfgang: But…really…you have no idea what a great help you have been with Bailey.
Shiloh: It’s my pleasure, you know that. Bailey is such a sweetheart.
Wolfgang: Thanks to you. Without you she would never be dressed or have her hair done.
Shiloh: Yes, but I’m not the one who taught her to read or who tucks her in at night or tells her that I love her at all the right times. Take some credit, Wolfgang. She has a wonderful father and that is what makes her a wonderful child.
Wolfgang: I want to do the best for her I can…you see…she saved me. I owe her everything.
Shiloh: There can be no doubt in that little girl’s mind that you love her.
Wolfgang: I do.
Shiloh: You have a lot of love to give, Wolfgang. Have you thought about…about…you know…dating again?
Wolfgang: *laughs* Have you been talking to Bailey?
Shiloh: What?
Wolfgang: It’s just funny you mentioning it, because the other night Bailey asked me about getting a “new Mommy”.
Shiloh: Oh! No, of course I wouldn’t mention anything like this to Bailey.
Wolfgang: I knew that. I just think it’s an amusing coincidence.
Shiloh: Bailey might have a point.
Wolfgang: *sigh* I know, I’m just having a hard time imagining it.
Shiloh: Well, there’s no rush. It’s just something to think about. If you are worried about Roxanne, I don’t think she would mind.
Wolfgang: I know she wouldn’t…but that doesn’t make it any easier.
*Shiloh just smiles and pats Wolfgang on the back*
Wolfgang: I know the older she gets the more Bailey could use a Mother.
Shiloh: You could use some love, too, you know.
Wolfgang: So…all I need to do is fall in love with someone and hope that she falls in love with me and Bailey, too. It seems like too much to ask for.
Shiloh: You might be surprised…

Shiloh and Hawk have been looking out for Wolfgang and Bailey since Roxanne's death...just like good friends would. ;) Shiloh helps with the "girly" aspects of raising a daughter. Wolfgang is so shy he's not all that confident about meeting someone new. When he met Roxanne it was more like an accident. :P Maybe he can meet someone else by accident...
I meant to take additional photos but I'm freakin' tired so it's not going to happen. Maybe this weekend I will have some time. Also, I think I am going to get the Pullip Dita I was talking about before (PS restocked them just the other day) but I will bet she will be the last Pullip or Pullip related doll I purchase. I already have all the dolls from that line I really love and none of the new releases really interest me. Tiny BJDs kind of own me now... :P However, if I sell off any more of my Pullip collection I can't see parting with many (or any) of them any time soon.
