Chapter 391: Preschool
Madeline: Oh Mommy, look!
Taryn: Yes, this is the new preschool.
Madeline: It’s pretty. Oh, a big…yellow thing!
*Taryn laughs*
Oki: Taryn…Maddie, you’re here. Welcome!
Taryn: Maddie is so thrilled.
Oki: We’re glad to have her, it’s going to be great.
Taryn: Maddie. Maddie! MADDIE!
Madeline: Huh…what?
Taryn: I’m leaving…bye.
Madeline: Okay, bye!
Oki: This is so exciting!
Grace: I’m suddenly really nervous…I hope this goes okay.
Oki: Don’t worry, it’s going to be great…we’ve been working on this all summer. It’s not like we’re unprepared.
Grace: I know, I just really want this to go well.
Oki: It will.
*Nicholai and Tati enter*
Oki: Oh, this must be Tatiana.
Nicholai: You can call her Tati, right?
Tati: Yes, Tati.
Grace: We’re glad you are here. Do you want to come meet the other kids?
*Tati grabs Nicholai’s leg*
Nicholai: She’s not sure about this. I mean, I know it’ll be fine, but sometimes it takes a little time for her to warm up to people.
Grace: That’s okay, if you need to stay for a bit that is fine. We don’t want her to feel uncomfortable.
Madeline: Oh…a new girl. Hi!
*Tati hides behind her dad’s leg*
Madeline: *undeterred* I’m Maddie…and you’re pretty.
*Tati smiles tentatively*
Madeline: They gots a big yellow thing over there. You wanna play with it with me?
*Tati nods*
Oki: See, she just needed one of the kids to make friends with her. I think she’ll be fine now.
Nicholai: I think you’re right. Still…I might check in on her later.
Grace: Of course, you are welcome to drop in any time.
*Nicholai leaves and preschool begins…*

So yes...the preschool begins! Taryn helped with the decorating (er...you know). I bough the sofa just for the preschool because it has polka dots on it. :P Anyway, six kids go to the preschool because the other three tiny dolls aren't in my story yet. But Petal isn't even "born" yet and I'm working on a story line for Reilly which should start really soon. And yes, even Max will be in the story eventually! :P
