Yep, here's the new chapter of "House of Pullip", it's one I really like (not that I don't like the others, but this one is special). Anway, enjoy! :D
Chapter 398: First Meeting
Bo: I know it’s been a long day, but there's just this one person I want you to meet. Then we’ll go home and rest. Is that okay?
*Reilly nods*
Bo: Here he is. He’s waiting for us!
Bo: Hi, Ronan. Thanks for meeting us…this is Reilly.
Ronan: *nervous but determined* Hello, Miss Reilly. Bo has told me all about you.
*Reilly smiles a little at Ronan*
Ronan: Um…oh…here, I got this for you. I thought you might like it.
*Ronan hands Reilly a teddy bear and her eyes light up*
Reilly: *quietly* Thank you.
*Ronan isn’t sure what to do or say next but Reilly climbs up to sit next to him and smiles at him, which helps him feel braver*
Ronan: I…uh…got the teddy bear from my friend, Kiki. You remind me of her actually, you both have the same pretty blond hair.
*Reilly smiles*
Ronan: Anyway, my friend Kiki runs a store. Maybe I could take you there sometime. It’s pink and she has a lot of fun things…and cookies, too.
Ronan: Do you like cookies?
Reilly: Yes!
Ronan: *laughs* I thought you might. Would you like me to take you to Kiki’s store sometime soon…does that sound fun?
Reilly: *nods* Yeah.
Ronan: Excellent. Maybe we’ll do that in a few days. I’ll arrange it with Miss Bo.
Bo: Now I think Reilly and I should get some dinner. We need some down time. Reilly, why don’t you wait for me by the back door. I want to talk to Ronan really quick; I’ll be along in a minute.
*Reilly leaves to wait for Bo*
Bo: Well done, Ronan.
Ronan: Was I really okay? I was so nervous!
Bo: You did great…she talked to you. She hardly talks, but you got her to say a few things. That’s a good sign.
Ronan: She seems very sweet.
Bo: You’ll get the chance to get to know each other better soon. Taking her to Kiki’s store? I think that is such a great idea.
Ronan: I…it just popped into my head.
Bo: Using your instincts, sometimes that’s all you can do. How about I bring her by again tomorrow?
Ronan: Alright. I look forward to it.
*Bo leaves to take care of Reilly*
Ronan: That went much better then I thought…she really is a pretty and sweet child.

I think Ronan has a lot of potential here...later on we will learn a bit more about what he is thinking about all of this. He's still not sure, but he is fond of Reilly already. :D

Yep, it's a Dal. ^^;
Okay, so I never thought I'd get a Dal. I was not completely against it (like I am with getting a Blythe...hell will freeze over before that happens) but I just wasn't sure about them. But I started thinking more about getting one, I was just never in a rush. So, since it was my birthday last week I had a little spending cash and I wanted a Pullip related doll but I wasn't sure who I wanted. I highly considered Another King because he's hot when out of his stock and freaky stock wig and he's on sale at VotD for $78 which is an awesome price. I also considered Princess Ann because she is really pretty and the only new Pullip in a long time that caught my attention.
But...I couldn't think of how either of these dolls would really fit into my current doll family. I mean, they would fit, but I've been trying to slim it down and it seemed dumb to add more dolls that are pretty much just like the group I already have.
Then I saw this Dal, a nude/bald Rot Chan for sale on DM for $50. This caught my attention because the price was good and I didn't have to get a NRFB one. One of the reasons I never got a Dal before is because there aren't any that have stock or wigs I'm really crazy about, so this pre-loved one solved that problem. And...I immediately thought of how she would fit in with my current dolls, which is a big deal to me because if they don't fit in they won't end up staying for long...and that just annoys me. If I go to the trouble to buy a doll I'd rather just keep it. :P
Anyway, enough babbling, I decided to try out a Dal. Rot Chan and Jolie were always my favorites so this was perfect...the timing was too perfect to pass up.
Here's her cute face. One reason I like Rot Chan is she is a tad less grumpy then a lot of the other Dals. :P I don't know if this will be her permanent wig but since she came bald I had to make due with what I had around. But I do know I want her to have a fur wig for sure...and this one matches her eyebrows fairly well...so I might just keep her like this.
I have nothing that fits Dal...that's a problem. :P But I faked it with this outfit and I thought it looked pretty cute. Plus I love this princess chuchi knitty hat on her! So I'm still not sure about Dals yet, but I'm willing to give her a chance. I'm pretty happy with her right now and I already ordered a special outfit and shoes just for her so I'm excited about that. Oh...and by the way, I'm calling her Phoebe for now, we'll see if that name sticks. :D
