And...another new chapter of "House of Pullip"! Yes, I know I'm on a roll but I won't be updating tomorrow and maybe not until Wednesday. It just depends how quickly I get some other stuff done until I can get back to it. Until them, please enjoy this chapter. :D
Chapter 412: Bad News
Laszlo: You mean you like me, don’t you?
Ivy: You’re quick…I thought you knew.
Laszlo: Maybe I did…I just…I didn’t think you would like me after how I acted.
Ivy: Maybe not at first.
Laszlo: Ivy…uh…I have to tell you something.
Ivy: Uh oh…this doesn’t sound good.
Laszlo: Yeah…it’s just…I’m moving away soon.
Ivy: You’re leaving?
Laszlo: *nods* I got this great job as a skydiving instructor…in Hawaii.
Ivy: Lucky.
Laszlo: It’s been in the works for a while, but I only just found out for sure last week.
*Ivy is obviously disappointed*
Laszlo: I’m really sorry…it’s not because I don’t like you…I do…it’s just something I need to do.
Ivy: You should know I understand.
Laszlo: I knew you would but I still feel bad.
Ivy: I will miss you.
Laszlo: When you came back I thought about not going…but I’m not the same guy I was before you left. You aren’t the same either.
Ivy: I’m not?
Laszlo: Don’t take that the wrong way, I meant it as a compliment. I just think you’ve…moved past me. You deserve someone better then me.
Ivy: Don’t say that.
Laszlo: Well…I think it’s true. And I’ll miss you, too.
Ivy: …
Laszlo: …
*They spontaneously embrace each other in a long hug*
Meanwhile…
*Grace and Wolfgang are just finishing their second date together*
Grace: Tell me a little about your job, what do you do?
Wolfgang: I work at a cancer research lab as a microbiologist.
Grace: Wow.
Wolfgang: It’s very rewarding work…just long and tedious.
Grace: I can imagine.
Wolfgang: I know you’re a teacher. Is that what you’ve always done?
Grace: Always. I love children so I’ve never tired of it.
Wolfgang: You’re a great teacher, Bailey talks about you all the time.
Grace: *smiles* Thank you, she’s a sweet girl.
Wolfgang: Well…here we are.
Grace: Thank you for taking me out again, Wolfgang. I really enjoyed it.
Wolfgang: So did I. I…would like to go out again…maybe next weekend…if you want…?
Grace: *nods* I would like that.
Wolfgang: …
Grace: …
Wolfgang: Ehm…um…I suppose I should go.
Grace: Yeah.
Wolfgang: Good night.
Grace: Bye, Wolfgang.
*Grace watches Wolfgang walk away…and smiles*

The title only refers to the first part of this chapter, there's no "bad news" about Grace and Wolfgang. That's going just fine. :D
So yeah, it's not a major revelation, but yes Laszlo is moving away. This is why he had not tried to get closer to Ivy before...he knew he might leave and didn't want to start something he couldn't finish. He likes Ivy, but it's not enough to induce him to stay. Ivy's disappointed but she does understand. Now she'll have to start again (I really hate doing this to her) but maybe the third time will be a charm? ;)
