Chapter 424: That Singing Man
Madeline: Hi Man!
Gideon: Well, hey there. Do you remember me?
Madeline: Yes. You’re that singing man.
Gideon: *laughs* That’s right.
Taryn: Come on, Maddie, let’s go home and let Daddy work.
Madeline: Not yet! I want to hug Daddy.
Taryn: *smiles* You can do that.
Felix: Come here, I want that hug.
*Madeline hugs Felix*
Felix: I won’t be long, I promise. You be good and do what Mommy says, okay?
Madeline: Okay.
Felix: Here’s the music I finished so you can take a look at it.
*Gideon is distracted watching Taryn and Madeline walk away*
Felix: You all right?
Gideon: How do you do it?
Felix: Do what?
Gideon: How do you work in the music business and have such a…normal family?
*Felix laughs*
Gideon: That didn’t come out right…
Felix: It’s okay, I know what you meant.
Gideon: So…how do you do it?
Felix: We just do. Why do you ask?
Gideon: I’m interested on how’s it’s done. The only girls I meet are crazy fan girls. I don’t think I could ever have what you have.
Felix: It’s different for me, I’m behind the scenes…but it's worth it so don’t give up on it.
Gideon: How so?
Felix: I love Taryn…she’s my inspiration. She makes me feel whole. And Madeline…how can I look into her eyes and not want to move the world?
Gideon: Yeah…
Felix: If you want that you can have it.
Gideon: I just need to meet the right girl.
Felix: I know Taryn is dying to introduce you to our friend Ivy who just left.
Gideon: Taryn wasn’t serious.
Felix: Oh, I’m sure she was. *laughs*
Gideon: Er...
Felix: Anyway, the music…
Gideon: Yeah, that is what I came here for.
Felix: This song was tricky but I think it came out well in the end.
Gideon: I’ll take this home and practice singing it this weekend, but I’m sure it’s fine.
Felix: I can always tweak it if it’s not.
Gideon: Nah, I’m sure it’s fine. Your music and my voice…they seem to go well together.
Felix: Our collaboration has been good. And I like writing for you better then anyone else I’ve worked with before.
*Gideon smiles*
Felix: Don’t let that go to your head.

Gideon and Felix write music together, Gideon sings it. He's a slightly disillusioned artist who likes singing but not necessarily the consequences a little fame comes with (he's not massively famous, but famous enough to be annoying to him...but not everyone has heard of him or anything like that). That's why he's interested in Felix's family and how to do it, etc. Plus he's just kind of a deep sensitive thinker like that. :P

Taryn and Madeline are enjoying a little bit of snow...yes, SNOW! It did actually end up snowing. :D It came down pretty good for a few hours, but it didn't really stick much. Still if was fun to see since we just don't ever really get it here...I miss it! Anyway, since it wasn't sticking I thought that letting it fall on the dark haired dolls' heads and snapping a photo before it melted would be the best way to capture it. I know it's not much, but I'll take what I can get. ;)
