Chapter 429: Calm Down
Bo: Oki! There you are, I’ve been looking everywhere. I need your help!
Oki: Whoa, slow down. What’s going on?
Bo: You got me into this mess, now you have to help!
Oki: What are you talking about?
Bo: It’s Jonas! He…well, he wants to take me out.
Oki: A date?
Bo: Yes! I said I’d go…I mean, how could I say no? But I have no idea what to do.
Oki: Calm down.
Bo: That’s easy for you to say, I’ve never done this before. I don’t even know what to wear!
Oki: You look fine.
Bo: I look like a kid…I want to look…nicer.
Oki: I can help you with that. Now, breathe…
Bo: Okay…okay…I know I’m over-reacting. I’m just not used to not knowing what to expect.
Oki: The first key to dating is to relax. Remember, he asked you out…that means he wants to spend time with you.
Bo: I don’t know what I’m going to say…or anything.
Oki: It’s okay to be nervous, just be yourself. Just go with it and everything will be fine.
Bo: *gulp* Okay.
Oki: Now, how about a little shopping trip to get you a cute new outfit and help you relax some more?
Bo: Yes…thank you, Oki.
Elsewhere…
*Sabrina is walking home and grumbling to herself*
*Sabrina approaches the back door and sees…*
Sabrina: Oh great…what are you doing out here all by yourself, kid?
Reilly: I’m waiting for my daddy.
Sabrina: Your daddy? Ronan, huh?
Reilly: Yes, Mr. Ronan is my daddy.
Reilly: I thought you and my daddy were friends?
Sabrina: Hmmm…well, sort of.
Reilly: He talks about you a lot at home.
Sabrina: He does?
Reilly: Yes. You should come over and see him. I think he wants to see you more.
Sabrina: I see…
*Ronan enters*
Ronan: Thank you for waiting, Reilly, I…Sabrina?
Sabrina: Who else?
Ronan: You look…different.
Sabrina: What? Oh…yeah…I changed my hair.
Ronan: It looks very pretty.
Sabrina: Hmpf.
Ronan: I miss you.
*Sabrina looks away*
Ronan: Do you miss me…at all?
Sabrina: Stop it, Ronan.
Ronan: But-
Sabrina: I have to go.
Ronan: *sigh* I understand. Do not stay away long.
*Sabrina walks away without saying anything else*
Ronan: *sighs again*
Reilly: Are you okay, daddy?
Ronan: I’m fine.
Reilly: You look sad.
Ronan: Do not worry about me, I’ll be okay…I just miss my friend.
Reilly: Is she mad at you?
Ronan: *smiles ruefully* I suppose. I should be mad at her…but I just can’t be. She wasn’t mean to you, was she?
Reilly: No.
Ronan: Well, that’s something I guess. Come on, let’s go inside.

Bo is funny...but yeah, she needs to relax. :P
As for Sabrina...well, she's as stubborn as ever. But it's possible that something Reilly said might start to have an effect on. Eventually. ;)

I got a little Christmas package yesterday from Lara, the_ritalin_kid, and it had a lot of awesome items in it...but this shirt was too awesome not to share as soon as I could. It's part of a little inside joke, but anyone who likes The Princess Bride should be able to find great amusement with it. I had to pose Gideon with a sword while wearing the shirt (on the left)...because...well...you know. ;) Close up of the graphic on the shirt on the right. Fun times, oh yes!
If I don't get the chance to say so tomorrow, I would like to wish all my friends a very Merry Christmas! <3 I love you all and appreciate your friendship a lot. Also, I am sending out cards to some of you, they will just be late. Sorry about that, but I have been thinking of you. :D
