Here is the next chapter in the "House of Pullip" saga...well, it's not really a saga but more like a silly story. But hey, it's fun...happy reading :D
Chapter 7:
Oki: Well, chicks, it’s time to go, let’s get in the basket now… *collects two of them* …where is the third? *looks around* Oh, dear…where did it go? *worried*
*Hawk approaches holding the third chick*
Hawk: Is this what you are looking for?
Oki: *relieved* Oh, yes, thank you! I was getting worried. I think that one likes to wander.
Hawk: Here you go. *hands the chick to Oki who places it in the basket with the others*
Hawk: I’m Hawk, by the way.
Oki: Hi, Hawk! I like your goggles.
Hawk: Heh, thanks.
Oki: My name is Oki.
Hawk: Good to meet you.
Hawk: So…what’s with the chicks?
Oki: *laughs* I don’t know! They just showed up and started following me around. Now I feel like I need to keep an eye on them, so I do.
Oki: I have a ladybug, too, see? *turns and shows Hawk her ladybug in her bag*
Hawk: Wow, that’s awesome.
Oki: Thanks! Well, I should go, but it was fun meeting you, Hawk.
Hawk: See you around.
*Oki leaves*
Hawk: Heh, she’s cute…
Unknown voice from behind Hawk: She’s taken.
*Hawk turns towards voice*
Hawk: Huh?
Sabrina: I said Oki is taken…but don’t let that stop you if you are interested in her.
Hawk: Are you suggesting I try to move in on another man’s girl?
Sabrina: *shrugs shoulders* Sure, why not?
Hawk: I do like living on the edge, but there are some things even I won’t do.
Sabrina: Too bad.
Hawk: Who are you anyway?
Sabrina: I’m Sabrina, and you?
Hawk: The name’s Hawk.
Sabrina: Hawk? What kind of name is that?
Hawk: It’s a nickname, I’m a stunt pilot…you know, it goes with my line of work.
Sabrina: Right…where’s your airplane?
Hawk: At the airport, of course. *rolls eyes*
Sabrina: So, Hawk, are you sure you don’t want to take your chances on Oki?
Hawk: Why are you trying so hard to get me to make a fool of myself?
Sabrina: *sigh* Never mind.
Hawk: You don’t like her, do you?
Sabrina: I like her just fine.
Hawk: Yeah…right…
