Photo Story
Yep...I'm still keeping up with my story, so here is a new chapter of "House of Pullip". :D
Chapter 442: Uneasy
Wolfgang: School is still going well, I hope?
Grace: It’s wonderful. I’m so glad Oki talked me into it. It made it possible for me to get to know you better…
*Wolfgang smiles*
Grace: I’ve been thinking of taking the kids on a little field trip. Do you think they would like that?
Wolfgang: Definitely. Where are you thinking of taking them?
Grace: The library.
Wolfgang: The…library?
Grace: Yes. They have a great children’s area there and storytime…with Shiloh, the storytelling dinosaur. I thought they would love that.
Wolfgang: Um…yes.
Grace: But if we take them we’d need help from a few parents. You know, like chaperones? Would you maybe be available?
Wolfgang: Uh…I don’t know.
Grace: You don’t like the library?
Wolfgang: No, I like the library just fine…
Grace: But something is wrong. What is it?
Wolfgang: Well…Roxanne…you know, my wife…Bailey’s mom…she used to work there. She actually used to be the head children’s librarian.
Grace: Oh…
Wolfgang: I haven’t been back there…since she died.
Grace: If it bothers you I won’t take Bailey.
Wolfgang: No, I don’t mind if Bailey goes. I intend to go back there...someday…but not with a group of preschoolers.
Grace: I understand that. I’ll ask some of the other parents if they might be able to help out.
Wolfgang: Thanks…for understanding.
Grace: It’s okay.
Meanwhile…
*Taryn is walking home from work at “The Sweet Shoppe” in a daze*
Felix: There you are, babe. I’ve been waiting for you.
Taryn: Oh…hi…
Felix: Hey, what’s the matter?
Taryn: I…I…
Felix: Did something happen?
Taryn: You could say that.
Felix: You look freaked out.
Taryn: Look at this.
*Taryn hands Felix a piece of paper*
Felix: *reading the paper* I don’t get it…what is this?
Taryn: It’s a deed…for “The Sweet Shoppe”.
Felix: What? Why do you have it?
Taryn: Kiki…she gave the store to me.
