Chapter 446: Common
Gideon: Ivy…hey!
Ivy: Gideon?
Gideon: Yeah. How’s it going?
Ivy: *blushing* I…I’m fine.
Gideon: You look like you’ve got your hands full. Need some help?
Ivy: No…thank you, I’m fine.
Gideon: What is all that stuff?
Ivy: Oh, we just got these new fabrics in at work and I didn’t have time to look over them before I came home…so I just brought them with me.
Gideon: Cool.
Ivy: I thought you were going to tell me I shouldn’t bring my work home with me…
Gideon: *laughs* If I told you that I’d be a hypocrite. I do work at home all the time…you know, working on my songs and stuff.
*Ivy smiles*
Gideon: I think we have a lot in common.
Ivy: Hmmm…maybe.
Gideon: So, tell me…do you design guys’ clothes?
Ivy: No, I just do women’s fashions.
Gideon: Darn. I was hoping you might be able to guide me. As my agent is always saying, fashion isn’t my forte.
Ivy: I was never great shakes at men’s fashions…sorry.
Gideon: Why is that?
Ivy: I don’t know. I suppose it has to do with the fact that I just don’t really understand men in general.
Gideon: *laughing again* Well, if it makes you feel any better, us guys don’t really understand you women either.
Ivy: Then we’re even.
Gideon: You know, I’d still like to take you out again. You’re really fun to talk to.
Ivy: But-
Gideon: But I won’t ask again. I promise. At least not right now.
*Ivy nods*
Gideon: Well, I should get home. See you later?
Ivy: Yeah…see you later.
*Gideon smiles*
*Ivy watches Gideon walk away*
Ivy: No, Ivy…no. Don’t even think about it unless you want your heart broken again…

You think Ivy might be weakening a tiny bit...maybe...? ;) Gideon deserves some points for not giving up easily. :P
Funny Doll Story: I was at the grocery store yesterday with my daughter and as we were walking out we passed by one of the claw machines, you know with toys and etc. in it and you pay money to use the claw and try to grab a toy. Inside was a mini Assa. Yep. In a rural grocery store claw machine. I paid the $0.50 to try and get it...and I almost had it! But no. And if I had had more quarters I would have kept trying but I only had two. :P Maybe another time...
