Chapter 448: Two Loves
*Grace and Wolfgang are sitting together*
Wolfgang: …
Grace: …
Grace: So…
Wolfgang: Um…I’m really sorry. I know I’ve been distant lately.
Grace: Yes.
Wolfgang: I’m still not very good at this.
Grace: You’re fine…but please just tell me what’s wrong.
Wolfgang: I don’t want to hurt your feelings.
Grace: Oh dear…is it that bad?
Wolfgang: Uh…well…it’s about Roxanne…
Grace: What about her?
Wolfgang: I’ve been thinking a lot about her lately.
Grace: Oh, I see. The trip to the library reminded you of her.
Wolfgang: Yes.
Grace: Well, that’s not bad. Of course you would think about her.
Wolfgang: I still love her.
Grace: Of course you do!
Wolfgang: But I always will.
Grace: I understand.
Wolfgang: That’s nice of you to say…but you can’t really know what this is like.
Grace: But I do know…wait…I thought you knew…
Wolfgang: Knew what?
Grace: I was married before, too. My husband died unexpectedly a few years before your wife did.
Wolfgang: Why didn’t you tell me this before?
Grace: Like I said, I thought you knew. I’m sorry.
Wolfgang: Hmmm…I think I remember hearing about that before, but I didn’t know that was you.
Grace: So you see, I do understand. I understand you probably better then anyone else around here could.
Wolfgang: How do you do it?
Grace: Do what?
Wolfgang: How do you stop feeling guilty? I love Roxanne and I…like you very much, too. When I think of her I feel like it’s unfair to you. When I think of you I feel disloyal to her.
Grace: I know just how you feel. It’s really hard. But it gets easier over time. Oki once gave me some good advice when I was feeling the same way you are right now.
Wolfgang: What did she say?
Grace: That there is no limit to love and the only thing that holds you back is fear.
*Wolfgang thinks this over for a while*
Wolfgang: *sigh* Oki is right. But this is going to take some time.
Grace: There’s no rush and I’m not in any kind of hurry.
Wolfgang: I want to tell you something…
Grace: Yes?
Wolfgang: When Roxanne died I didn’t think I needed anyone else…ever. I focused everything I had on Bailey and giving her what she needed. It wasn’t until I met you that I realized how much I needed someone…and that it was okay for me to want that.
Grace: *smiles* That’s so nice of you to say.
Wolfgang: Thanks for putting up with me…you deserve so much better then I’m giving you.
Grace: Stop that right now. I really like you and I’ve never regretted any of the time we’ve spent together. Just don’t push me away again. Please just talk to me if you are feeling…confused.
Wolfgang: *smiles* I will.

Wolfgang is very fond of Grace, but he's struggling with feelings of guilt. He's working on coming to terms with the fact that you can love more then one person at a time. Lucky for him he has Grace who really knows what he's going through. :D
Lati is so weird:
I have avoided ordering anything from them for quite some time because they relapsed into very slow service again. Plus I've heard numerous stories about bad quality from random sources (granted I think a lot of these people are nitpicking over stupid things that don't matter...but that's another story). I have problems with patience so I've thought it best to just not mess with the anxiety of having to wait for Lati. Lucky for me they haven't put anything new out for a while that's really drawn my interest...until now. They just put up photos for their new limited dolls and I'm considering one of them. Here's the "weird" part--first Lati announces they are Limited Edition "Opera" dolls but today they are called "Dark Knight" dolls. Then the two dolls they posted previews for were named "Joe" and "Anne" yesterday, today they are named "Zorro" and "Elena". XD Geez, Lati, why don't you make up your mind about things before announcing them and posting previews...duh!
Anyway, the doll Elena (formally called Anne...haha) caught my attention. I like her eyes the best, they are so big and sweet looking. Her dress is pretty but not very practical and I'm not crazy about the wig, but the doll itself I really like. I wish they would make a basic of her mold, but this is a one time deal to get this mold during this limited time. Once it's over Lati says they won't make it again. Money isn't an issue really, I haven't bought a doll for a while and I'm been saying my earnings from my store so I have plenty squared away just in case. But, I was hoping to get a new laptop instead of a doll...I can't get both. I can always save up again for the laptop. I guess it's all going to come down to how much the doll is, which I won't know until Monday. We'll see I guess, it's just the first doll that's attracted my attention in a while. :P
