These updates are slow but they do keep coming if you wait long enough, please enjoy this new chapter of "House of Pullip" (plus some info about the story at the end). :D
Chapter 445: Overprotective
Toby: Ready to start your first day on the job tomorrow?
Phoebe: Yeah…
Toby: Don’t be nervous, it will be fine.
Phoebe: I’m not nervous, I’m just thinking…I should probably tell Mom about the job.
Toby: You haven’t told her yet?
Phoebe: Er…no.
Toby: Well…I didn’t mention it to her either.
*They both laugh*
Phoebe: Give me the phone, I’ll call her now.
Toby: You sure? I can do it.
Phoebe: I’m sure.
*Toby hands her the phone*
Phoebe: Hi, Mom…yes…yes…I’m fine, how are you? …and Dad? Good, good. Um…listen, I want to tell you something really exciting that I’m going to do. Yeah…well, I got a job! Yes, Toby said I could…no…it’s not like that. Mom, chill out! It’s just one day a week for a few hours…no big deal. Uh huh…okay…just a minute.
*Phoebe hands the phone to Toby*
Phoebe: *whispers* She wants to talk to you. *rolls eyes*
Toby: Hi, Mom. Yes, I let her get a job…it’s at the place I work…uh huh…I didn’t think I needed to ask you first, it’s not that big of a deal….but she wants to do it.
Toby: Mom, I’ve known my boss for years, it’s perfectly safe…no, I don’t think Phoebe is too young, I think this is a great opportunity for her…that is not true…and I did so have a job when I was her age, I mowed lawns for our neighbors, remember?
Toby: I’m not going to change my mind…you said I could decide how to do things if she came to live with me…you know I can’t give her much spending money and I know you and Dad can’t either…she can earn it herself which is best anyway…uh huh…yes…I promise. Okay, bye.
*Toby gives the phone back to Phoebe*
Phoebe: Mom? Yes…okay…sure, I’ll let you know…love you, too…bye.
Phoebe: Thanks for sticking up for me; I don’t think she would have let me do it if it hadn’t been for you.
Toby: No problem…that’s what big brothers are for, right?
Phoebe: *smiles* Right.
Toby: She was worried it wouldn’t be safe.
Phoebe: *snorts* Yeah…like something bad is going to happen in a store that pink!
*Toby laughs*

More brother/sister bonding going on here...well, it's not that exciting, but it's cute. :D

Okay, here's the thing about "House of Pullip": I'm losing interest in continuing the story. Most of my characters are pretty well established and my story isn't a soap opera so it hard to keep it exciting without people divorcing and remarrying each other every few years...or having babies kidnapped or something. :P It's getting to be too hard to flesh out my newer characters in this story because I feel like I've done it all before and I'm running out of ideas. So I have to face the fact that the story will be coming to and end and likely very soon. I do have a few stories I would like to finish up before doing so but after that I won't be updating it anymore. However, I might still do an occasional photo story here and there when I get the inspiration. Other then that I'd like to stick to regular doll photos and other things. If, when the story is over, if I haven't finished up a story line you want to know more about please feel free to ask me how it ends up and I'll be happy to let you know. I have at least 5-6 more chapters to finish up...I don't know the exact number so there is more to the story. Please keep reading if it interests you. :D

I'm going to Obitsu my two Dals, I'll be ordering those next week. I'm going to do the Dal/Obitsu hybrid I've seen other people do. Also, I'm thinking of selling my LittleFee, Finn. She's so cute and she's really nifty, but she isn't fitting into my doll family as well as I would like. I don't really know what to do with her. :P But I'm not in a huge hurry to do that so I'll be keeping for at least a bit longer to give her and myself more of chance to see if I can't make it better.
