Told you I'd have a new chapter of "House of Pullip" up by the end of the week! I was able to get it done sooner then expected, please enjoy it. :D
Chapter 456: Sudden Heat
*Ivy is walking home from work*
Ivy: Oh…hi, Gideon.
Gideon: Ivy! It’s nice to see you.
Ivy: What are you doing here?
Gideon: Just waiting for Felix…music stuff...you know.
Gideon: Why don’t you stop and sit with me. Just for a minute?
Ivy: Sure…okay.
*Ivy sits*
Ivy: …
Gideon: …
Ivy: Um…I listened to your CD.
Gideon: Yeah?
Ivy: Yeah. I…really like it.
*Gideon smiles*
Ivy: I wish I could describe it better…but you know I don’t know that much about music. I just thought it was really good. I listened to it over and over…
Gideon: You described it just fine. I’m just glad you liked it. I was hoping you would.
Ivy: Do you have another CD?
Gideon: No, that was my first one. I’m working on my second one now. That’s why I’m always here looking for Felix. He’s writing most of the music for it, I’m writing the lyrics.
Ivy: I’d like to hear it when it’s finished.
Gideon: I’ll make sure you get one.
*They smile at each other*
Ivy: *blushing* I…um…I should get home.
Gideon: Yeah. It’s always nice seeing you, Ivy.
Ivy: I like seeing you, too.
Gideon: Do you?
Ivy: Yes.
Gideon: Don’t be a stranger.
Ivy: I won’t.
Gideon: See you soon then.
Ivy: Bye.
*Ivy walks away*
Ivy: Oh, why is he so nice…and talented…and good looking! I don’t want to like him…but dang…
