I was too busy yesterday to get this done...so here it is today, the next chapter of "House of Pullip" for your reading pleasure...enjoy!
Chapter 11:
Shelby: You’ve been spending a lot of time with Alex lately.
Toby: You’ve been spending a lot of time with Madison lately.
Madison: *smile* Yes, he’s been a good friend to me.
Alex: Yes, she’s an amazing woman. *sigh*
Shelby: And…does Alex see you as a friend?
Madison: Well…I think he wants more…
Toby: And…does she think you are “amazing”?
Alex: I think so…
Shelby: Madison, anyone who has seen you with Alex knows that he’s head over heels for you, can’t you see that?
Madison: I can see that, but he said he would wait until I was ready. I don’t think I’m ready…I don’t know if I will ever be.
Toby: What makes you think so?
Alex: She gave me her necklace. *shows Toby the necklace, which he is wearing*
Toby: She gave you that? Wow…
Shelby: You can’t leave Alex hanging like that, you need to decide what to do and tell him, especially if you just want to be friends.
Madison: I know. I’m just not sure what to do…
Shelby: I don’t want to rush you, but it will only be harder on Alex the longer you make him wait. If you are going to let him down, do it sooner before he invests to much of himself into you.
Alex: So…do you think she likes me? I mean, do you think she really likes me?
Toby: It’s hard to say. I think you need to figure that out yourself. Just don’t rush her; she’s been through a lot.
Alex: I know. I just feel so…so…well, I’ve never felt like this before. She’s becoming everything to me…
