Yes...the next chapter is ready already :P I just missed my story and was feeling very eager to get to work on it again. Please forgive my enthusiasm. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it and I will have yet another chapter to post tomorrow...I'm hopeless! Enjoy :D
Chapter 24:
*Crispin is waiting for Oki so they can go out together*
*Sabrina enters*
Sabrina: Hi there, hot stuff.
Crispin: Hi, Sabrina.
Sabrina: What are you doing?
Crispin: Waiting for Oki.
Sabrina: *frown*
Sabrina: Well, I’ll leave you alone then.
Crispin: Bye.
*Sabrina trips and almost falls down. Crispin, being the gentleman that he is, reaches out to help steady her*
Crispin: Careful. Are you okay?
*Sabrina throws herself on Crispin*
Sabrina: I am now. *smiles*
Crispin: Sabrina, what are you doing?
Sabrina: Thanking you for helping me. *smiles more and bats her eyes*
*Crispin tries desperately and unsuccessfully to shove her off, Sabrina only grasps him tighter*
Crispin: Please, Sabrina, don’t do this!
Sabrina: Do what? Don’t you like me?
Crispin: Not in the way you are implying. Please get off!
Sabrina: *giggles*
*Oki enters*
Oki: Hi, Crispin! Are you ready?
*Crispin finally manages to shove Sabrina off, Sabrina only smirks*
Crispin: Yes, I’m ready…er…let’s go.
*Sabrina watches them leave and smirks to herself, thinking her work is done*
Oki: Where should we go? I’ve been looking forward to spending some time with you alone…you know, without all the animals. *smiles genuinely*
Crispin: Er…Oki? Aren’t you angry with me?
Oki: Oh…should I be?
Crispin: Erm…well…Sabrina was all over me like something was going on…
Oki: But nothing was going on, I know that.
Crispin: You do?
Oki: You told me all about her, remember? I figured she was just being…friendly. Plus, you’ve known her for a long time… *shrugs*
Crispin: Yes, she was being friendly all right…way friendlier than I wanted her to be, I promise!
Oki: Don’t worry, Crispin, I trust you.
Crispin: You do?
Oki: Unquestionably.
*Crispin suddenly takes Oki in his arms and pulls her close*
Crispin: Oki, you are something else. I don’t know how you found me but I’m so glad you did! I promise to always be worthy of your trust…always.
Oki: Oh, Crispin, I know.
Crispin: Hold very still…
*Crispin kisses her cheek and whispers in her ear*
Crispin: I love you… you know that, right?
Oki: *happy sigh* Yes…and I love you, too.
*They look at each other deeply and slowly draw closer…*
*Sabrina, watching and glowering in the distance, starts forward to find some way to stop them*
Sabrina: I don’t believe it, she’s not mad? Bah, I’ve got to stop them!
???: Where do you think you’re going?
Sabrina: *gasp* You!
