Chapter 33:
*An overjoyed Alex is hugging Roxanne*
Alex: I can’t tell you how happy I am for you!
Roxanne: Thank you, Alex.
*Alex slaps Wolfgang on the back*
Alex: Congratulations, dude. You did it!
Wolfgang: Thank you.
Alex: And now we’re going to be brothers!
Alex: I hope you don’t mind, but I’ve already started planning an engagement party for you guys. Now, I didn’t tell anyone…yet…but if it’s okay with you I’ll start inviting people and spreading the news.
Roxanne: That’s fine with me, it’s easier than me trying to tell everyone myself. What do you think, Wolfgang?
Wolfgang: I don’t mind either.
Alex: I’m dying to tell, Toby. Please, can I?
Roxanne: *smile* Yes, go on
*Alex runs off*
Wolfgang: He’s so excited.
Roxanne: Yes, it’s a compliment to you.
Wolfgang: How so?
Roxanne: He’s very protective of me and he wants what’s best for me. If he’s happy I’m going to marry you it means he approves highly of you.
Wolfgang: *smile*
Elsewhere…
Sabrina: So, Hawk, who’s your friend?
Hawk: *suspicious* Are you following me now?
Sabrina: Maybe.
Hawk: *sigh* Sabrina, this is Lucas, an old friend.
Sabrina: Hi there, hot stuff.
Lucas: *laughs* Hey.
Hawk: Tell me, how is Madison?
Sabrina: She’s fine. I’m helping her work out her problems just like I promised I would.
Hawk: Good, let’s keep it that way…I’m tired of following you around and trying to keep you out of trouble…just remember our bargain.
Sabrina: *pouts* Oh, I thought you liked following me. You are madly in love with me, remember?
Hawk: Ha ha.
*Sabrina walks off*
Lucas: Wow.
Hawk: Don’t get any ideas, she’s nothing but trouble.
Lucas: Hmm…sounds like my kind of girl.
Hawk: *eye roll*
Meanwhile…
*Alex runs up to Toby and Shelby*
Alex: Toby! I have some great news!
Toby: Wow, Alex…you look really happy.
Shelby: Is it Madison, did you finally talk to her?
Alex: No, no…it’s not that…it’s about Roxanne and Wolfgang…
Alex: *deep breath* They’re getting married!
Toby: Really?!?
Shelby: Oh my, how wonderful!
Alex: Yep, he asked and she said yes.
Shelby: This is so exciting! I have to go see Roxanne right now; I’ll see you guys later.
*Shelby runs off to find Roxanne*
Alex: I’m so happy, I can’t tell you. I’m planning a party; you and Shelby have to come.
Toby: Of course, it sounds great!
Alex: *calmer* And…can I ask you a favor?
Toby: Sure, is something wrong?
Alex: Will you invite Madison to come, too? I mean, I would invite her myself, but I haven’t had much luck getting her to talk to me, she just runs away. *sigh*
Toby: I’ll talk to her and make sure she comes. Maybe she’ll talk to you there?
Alex: Maybe…
