Photo Story...and Happy 4th!
Happy 4th of July to all my American friends! I hope you have having a nice holiday :D I'm going to a fireworks display tonight and hope I don't get rained on :P
I worked on the latest chapter of "House of Pullip", I hope you enjoy it :D
Chapter 34:
*Annike finds Jonas*
Annike: Hi, Jonas, I’ve been looking for you.
Jonas: Annike…hi. Why have you been looking for me?
Annike: Well, did you hear about Roxanne and Wolfgang?
Jonas: No, what about them?
Annike: They are engaged! They’re getting married.
Jonas: No way.
Annike: Yes way, isn’t that exciting?
Jonas: Yes! I’m happy for them.
Annike: Anyway, about our date…
Jonas: You still want to go, right?
Annike: Yes, but Alex has planned an engagement party for the same day we had panned to go out.
Jonas: Why don’t we just go together then? That can be our date.
Annike: Just what I was thinking. It will be fun. *smiles*
Elsewhere…
*Roxanne is showing Shiloh her engagement ring*
Shiloh: *gasp* He asked you to marry him? How wonderful!
Roxanne: I know. I almost can’t believe it.
Shiloh: You told me he was romantic but I had no idea.
Roxanne: *sigh* Believe it…I’m too lucky…I don’t deserve him…
Shiloh: Now that’s nonsense, no more talk like that.
Roxanne: My brother is planning a party; everyone is going to be invited. It’ll be a good chance for you to meet everyone.
Shiloh: Oh…okay…
Roxanne: Is something wrong?
Shiloh: I’m not so good with lots of people…
Roxanne: You’ll be with me. I promise it will be fun.
*Shelby enters*
Shelby: Roxanne! Alex just told me and Toby the news…I had to come and see you right away and say congratulations. I’m so happy for you!
Roxanne: *blush* Thank you.
Shelby: Oh, I’m sorry, who is your friend?
Roxanne: This is Shiloh, she’s new here. We work together and she needed a place to stay so I said she could come here because there’s always room.
Shelby: Welcome! I’m Shelby.
Shiloh: Hi. *shy smile*
Elsewhere...
Toby: Madison, can I talk to you?
Madison: Sure, Toby, what is it?
Toby: Alex is organizing a party; he wanted to make sure you knew about it so you wouldn’t miss it. I’m just passing the message along.
Madison: I don’t want to go, but thanks for telling me.
Toby: Why, because Alex is giving it? You don’t even know what the party is for.
Madison: What’s going on?
Toby: Roxanne and Wolfgang are getting married. Alex is throwing them an engagement party. Everyone is invited.
Madison: Oh, I see. Maybe I will come then.
Toby: Madison, did you think he was trying to trick you or something? Is that why you didn’t want to come at first?
Madison: I wouldn’t put it past him.
Toby: You don’t know Alex that well if you think he would try and trick you into talking to him. He doesn’t work that way.
Madison: I…I’m sorry.
Toby: Don’t apologize to me. There’s only one person you should be talking to.

The engagement party is coming up in the next chapter...all kinds of things might happen, but all of my dolls will be appearing at the party and involved in the story in some way. It will take several chapters to cover the entire party, stay tuned :D
