I sold a few of the dresses I made, they are still for sale if there if anyone who still wants one...they will be available for a while :D Plus I posted FS posts on both PS and HoP so you can check there, too. I bought some more cute fabric today that is black with pink rose buds on it. It's really pretty and I'm excited to see how a dress made with it turns out, I'll work on that soon.
Here is the next chapter of "House of Pullip", enjoy!
Chapter 52:
Lucas: So…you were going to show me what’s so great about this place? *sounds very doubtful*
Annike: Only if you promise to keep an open mind.
Lucas: *sigh, mumble* I’ll try…
Annike: Hmmm…I guess that’s the best I can expect from you. Come on…
*They are sitting looking out at the backyard*
Lucas: And…what am I suppose to be seeing, Nika?
Annike: Nature…green grass, trees…you know, that kind of thing.
Lucas: What’s so great about that?
Annike: If I have to explain then you don’t get it.
*Sitting together on a swing*
Lucas: Why are we sitting on a swing? I’m not five, Nika.
Annike: It’s fun, Lucas…you do know how to have fun, don’t you?
Lucas: Of course! But my kind of fun doesn’t usually involve playground equipment.
Annike: You can’t be a “party animal” forever, you know.
Lucas: But why shouldn’t I be for as long as I can get away with it?
Annike: *sigh*
*In the kitchen by the mixer*
Lucas: Why are we here?
Annike: This is where the cookies are made.
Lucas: Are there cookies?
Annike: No, but Toby and the human lady like the make them from time to time…and they share so it’s nice.
Lucas: I could get used to that, but what else is there?
*Sitting under a tree*
Lucas: It’s…just a tree.
Annike: *rolls eyes* This isn’t just any tree, it’s the tree climbing tree. Shelby loves to climb this tree and swings from the branches.
Lucas: *unimpressed*
Annike: *mutters* I don’t know why I’m wasting my time…I think you are a lost cause.
Lucas: It’s not that it isn’t nice; it’s just not for me.
Annike: Anyone can fit in here if you just give it a chance. You would not believe the…variety of people who live here.
Lucas: They just seem like a bunch of ordinary people to me. I don’t want to be ordinary.
Annike: You still don’t get it! No one here is ordinary, that’s what makes it so extraordinary!
Lucas: It doesn’t seem like it to me.
Annike: It’s…magical.
Lucas: Uh huh…right.
Annike: I’m serious.
Lucas: There’s no such thing as magic.
Annike: I used to think that until I came here, but now I know. There’s a fairy, a pixie, and at least two sorcerers who live here…and probably more that I don’t know about yet.
Lucas: I don’t believe you.
Annike: And you never will with a mind as closed as yours. I’m wasting my time trying to convince you…
Lucas: Sorry, Nika. I can tell this place means a lot to you, but maybe it’s not for everyone.
Annike: You just don’t want it to be for you. All you think about is running away. *sigh*
Lucas: It’s my life!
Annike: Fine! Just leave then! No one wants you here anyway!
*Annike storms off*
Lucas: Geez, what’s she so worked up for? This place is just a house like any other house…isn’t it?
To be continued...
Yes, this is about my house...but it also reflects a rather active side of my imagination as well, heh :P Also, there is a point to all of this, just stayed tuned!
