Chapter 61:
Shiloh: Did you have fun cooking with me the other day?
Hawk: Yes! We should do that again sometime…but today…I have another idea.
Shiloh: Oh?
Hawk: Yeah…
Shiloh: Well, aren’t you going to tell me?
Hawk: It’s a little out there. Promise me you won’t freak out, and you can say no if you don’t want to do this.
Shiloh: *intrigued* Tell me.
Hawk: Will you…go skydiving with me?
Shiloh: *speechless and wide-eyed*
Hawk: I know, it sounds crazy…
Shiloh: No, it doesn’t sound crazy-
Hawk: Shiloh…
Shiloh: *laughs* Okay! It does sound crazy; it’s just not what I was expecting you to want to do. But…I want to go.
Hawk: *surprised* You do?
Shiloh: Yeah…it’s just…I wouldn’t know how to do it right…you know…when to open my parachute and stuff like that. Don’t I need hours of training or something?
Hawk: Oh no…it’s not like that…see we would do a tandem jump. Basically, we would be connected together and I’m the only one who needs to worry about the parachute. You would just go along for the ride and enjoy it. I’m a certified instructor so there’s nothing to worry about.
Shiloh: We would jump together? Oh, that’s even better!
Hawk: *a bit taken aback* …You really want to do this?
Shiloh: Yes…why?
Hawk: Don’t take this the wrong way…but you don’t seem like the risk-taking type.
Shiloh: I’m not…I just like to try new things when they come up. You only live once, you know?
Hawk: *blink* …Yeah, I know exactly what you mean.
Shiloh: *smile*
*Hawk suddenly sweeps Shiloh up in his arms*
Shiloh: *gasp* What are you doing?
Hawk: I’m taking you skydiving before you change your mind!
Shiloh: *laughs* I'm not going to change my mind.
Hawk: Are you sure you want to do this? I can feel you shaking.
Shiloh: Of course I’m scared…but I’m not going to let that stop me.
Hawk: You are the bravest person I know.

In other dolly news, Melodie (my new Panda) has had a bit more work done on her hair. I just ironed the heck out of those wayward bangs repeatedly until they cooperated and decided to lie flat. They still aren't perfectly flat, but I like them much better so I'm happy. I'll post more photos of her later.
Also, I spent a long time this morning trying to help a new member of my forum figure out how to post her Pullip photos. I never knew how complicated this stuff was to some people...she doesn't even know what a URL is...or what code is. How on earth am I suppose to explain it? I'm trying to be nice, but it's really trying my patience. How do some people even survive online without knowing basic stuff like this? Anyway, I think she senses my frustration because she stopped messaging me :O
