Jonas: Did you hear about the ball that Ronan is having?
Grace: Oh, yes. I talked to him yesterday. He’s a nice man.
Jonas: Well…I was wondering…would like to go…with me?
Grace: Jonas, I wouldn’t want to go with anyone but you.
Jonas: Really?
Grace: Yes, really!
*Jonas smiles and then looks contemplative*
Grace: Is something the matter?
Jonas: Oh…it’s Rayna. I was hoping someone would take her to the ball so we could all go together…but no one’s asked her.
Grace: Is she sad?
Jonas: No, she’s alright…maybe it bothers me more than it bothers her. But I wish someone would…notice her.
Grace: Maybe she can come with us anyway, she doesn’t need a date.
Jonas: Yeah…yeah, that sounds good.
Elsewhere…
Toby: You know that ball Ronan is planning?
Shelby: Yes.
Toby: Will you go to it with me?
Shelby: You know I will, Toby, you don’t have to ask me!
Toby: I know, but I thought it would be romantic if I asked.
Shelby: Aw, that’s sweet!
Meanwhile…
Roxanne: This ball sounds fun, should we go together?
Wolfgang: I don’t know…I’m not much of a dancer.
Roxanne: *smiles* Neither am I…we can just step on each other’s feet then.
Wolfgang: Okay, that does sound fun as long as you don’t mind.
Roxanne: We should go find Shiloh and see if she’s going…
Elsewhere…
Madison: I talked to Sebastian earlier today.
Alex: *distracted* Oh?
Madison: He told me Ronan is planning a ball…you know, a dance.
Alex: Uh huh…
Madison: Alex, are you listening to me?
Alex: Sorry…I just have a lot on my mind. Ronan, huh? I don’t know if I want to go to any dance he’s planning.
Madison: Hmmm…I can’t argue with that. But it sounds like everyone is going to be there so it might be fun.
Alex: Yeah, I guess.
Madison: Regardless of Ronan, I was kind of hoping you might want to go together.
Alex: You want to go…with me?
Madison: Yes.
Alex: Why?
Madison: Alex, how can you ask me something like that?
Alex: *sigh* I’m just wondering…what an amazing woman like you…is doing with a guy like me?
Madison: Oh, Alex…I thought you knew how I felt about you. Maybe I need to be more clear about that…
Alex: No, it’s not that. I mean, I’m just an average guy and you are not an average woman…at all. What do you see in me?
Madison: I see everything in you. And you aren’t as average as you might think. I like you; I want to be with you, what else matters?
Alex: Yeah…yeah...I’m sorry…
Madison: Please don’t apologize; I want to know when something like this is bothering you. Sometimes, I wonder what you are doing with an “old lady” like me.
Alex: We’ve been through this…
Madison: Yes, I know. I’m just saying we should talk about it when we feel these doubts.
Alex: Yeah…okay.
Madison: So…the dance…
Alex: Do you want to go?
Madison: Yes, I do. I want to go with you!
Alex: *smiles* It does sound kind of fun…
Madison: If we go together, it will be fun.
Alex: I would be…honored…if you would go with me.
Madison: *smiles*

There's one more chapter before the ball (which will probably encompass four chapters...I'm still figuring that out). It will be a little like that party sequence I did earlier, but will not involve so many plots merging at once...but there will be several things going on with several plots, hopefully it will be fun :P
I ordered some doll clothing from Blythanol. One item came a few weeks ago, but I didn't get the rest of my order until yesterday. The wait was a bit long, but worth it. I took a few of my dolls out to show off the new stuff:
Shelby is the shirt that showed up earlier, you might remember Melodie wearing it earlier. Even though it's meant for Blythe this one was roomy enough for a type 2.
Sabrina is wearing a vest I ordered from there. It's too tight on a type 2 to shut in the front so she's wearing it open...I like it on her regardless, but it fit a type 3 perfectly.
Back view, it's got a lace ruffle :D
Lastly, I got this dress which I really meant for Grace, but it's a bit snug on a type 2 (and I was a tiny bit worried about staining). However, I put it on Rayna, who is a type 3, and just loved it on her!
One more for good measure, isn't she sweet?
I recommend Blythanol if you don't mind waiting, but you can only order the clothes when they open up for orders (a preorder period). Their prices were pretty reasonable and the clothes are well made, I will probably order from them again :D
