Here is another chapter of "House of Pullip" for your enjoyment :D
Chapter 99:
Grace: Jonas, this is Zander.
Jonas: Nice to meet you. Uh…how do you know each other?
Grace: Zander is my husband’s kid brother.
Zander: *mumbles* I’m not a kid.
Grace: Of course not, I’m sorry. Zander is his younger brother.
Zander: Grace, why did you leave?
Grace: Oh, Zander…I had to. It was time for me to move on with life. I couldn’t stay…
Zander: Say no more, I know my parents haven’t been very good about getting past Zane’s death. I don’t blame you for leaving…but I wish you had said goodbye.
Grace: I’m sorry.
Zander: It’s okay, this has been hard on everyone. My parents still can’t get past it; I had to leave, too. I mean, I miss my brother, but he wouldn’t want any of us to waste our life grieving him endlessly.
Grace: You can stay here if you like. There are some nice…distractions.
Zander: Can I stay? That would be great. I promise not to get in the way or bother you.
Grace: Zander, you are like the only family I have anymore, it’s not a bother! Come on, I’ll show you where you can stay. Will you excuse us for a minute, Jonas?
Jonas: Sure.
Grace: I’ll be right back. *she leads Zander away*
Elsewhere…
*Rayna and Sebastian have just finished practicing with their swords*
Rayna: Thanks for practicing with me, Sebastian…you know you really don’t have to.
Sebastian: I know I don’t have to, but I want to.
Rayna: That’s nice of you to say.
Rayna: Well…bye. *she turns to walk away*
Sebastian: *still sitting, looking distracted*
Rayna: *concerned* Are you okay, Sebastian? Is something wrong?
Sebastian: Oh…I’m just worried about Melodie. Do you know Paige’s sister?
Rayna: *sits* I know her a little. What’s wrong?
Sebastian: Paige has been attempting to instruct Melodie in the ways of fairy magic. Specifically, how to communicate with butterflies…but she has not had much success. We are both concerned that if Paige fails to teach her anything that Melodie will run back to their mother, who is decidedly not to be trusted.
Rayna: And that would make Paige sad?
Sebastian: Yes! Yes, exactly. I do not want her to be sad.
Rayna: Well…there are all kinds of magic, right?
Sebastian: Yes.
Rayna: Maybe Melodie can learn another kind of magic. Maybe communicating with butterflies is not her area of…expertise? There must be some other type of magic she can be taught...isn’t there?
Sebastian: …
Rayna: Er…maybe not. I’m sorry, I really don’t know since I don’t know anything about magic. Never mind.
Sebastian: No…it’s not that…in fact I think you may have an excellent point. Melodie can do magic, that much is certain. Maybe the key is to find the right kind of magic for her. *thinks hard*
Sebastian: You just gave me a good idea, thank you! You are a good friend. *smiles genuinely*
Rayna: *blush* Oh…you’re welcome. I’m glad I could help.

There will be a little more about Zander in the next chapter. Also, one of the things I'm trying to get across in this chapter is although Rayna still has a pretty bad crush on Sebastian she isn't trying to pursue or flirt with him in any way. This is important for later ;)
Also, lovehaze has just started a new photo contest just for male dolls :D You can find it here: taeyang_quarter and new contestants are currently being accepted for the first round. It looks like it's going to be a lot of fun so I just wanted to mention it...plus, I was planning on possibly entering a boy doll of mine whenever pullip_fabulous had a new round, so this is great because all the dolls in the contest will be boys :D Crispin is going to try his luck in TQ:
