Chapter 117: Good Luck
*Shiloh and Hawk meet up after work like they always do*
Hawk: You seem nervous…is everything okay?
Shiloh: Um…yes…I’m fine. I just…have something for you.
Hawk: Oh, you didn’t have to get me anything. And I don’t have anything for you.
Shiloh: I don’t expect anything…I just…want you to have this.
Hawk: *curious* Really, what is it?
Shiloh: Here. *she hands him something she was hiding behind her back*
Hawk: Oh…wow! It’s beautiful…what is it?
Shiloh: It’s a new good luck charm…you know…to add to your others. *blush*
Hawk: Shiloh…this is great! Thank you.
Shiloh: Do you…like it?
Hawk: Oh yeah, it’s my favorite color.
Shiloh: *doubtful* Green is your favorite color?
Hawk: Well…lately, yes. It reminds me of your eyes.
Shiloh: *blush*
Hawk: *hands the charm back to her* Here, you put it on me. It’s better luck that way.
Shiloh: I thought you weren’t superstitious…
Hawk: I’m not…I just think it’s more special that way. Come on.
Shiloh: *smiles* Okay.
Hawk: It looks great with the others.
Shiloh: When you see mine you can know I’m thinking of you.
Hawk: And hoping I’m thinking twice about whatever stupid risk I’m about to take?
Shiloh: No…no…not that. I’m hoping you’d know that I believe in you.
Hawk: …
Shiloh: *blush* It’s stupid, I know.
Hawk: No, I was just thinking that might be the coolest thing anyone has ever said to me.
Shiloh: *blushes more*
Hawk: I think this might just be my favorite charm yet.
Shiloh: Oh…you’re just saying that…
Hawk: No, I mean it!
Hawk: *takes her face in his hands* Thank you. I’ll always treasure it…it’s very special to me because you gave it to me.
Shiloh: You’re welcome.
*Hawk kisses her*

I got my shipping notice for Haute NY this morning. Haute Doll is nice and quick, I like that. Not that it matters since I don't get to open mine until Christmas. If I can, I will try to snag a quick photo of her in her box, but no promises. Otherwise I will just have to enjoy everyone else's photos. :P
