Chapter 120: Shopping
Melodie: *concentrating*
Paige: *whispers* What are you doing?
Melodie: Just wait…
Paige: *impressed by Melodie’s confidence*
Roxanne: *sigh* I just don’t know where to look anymore…where am I going to find a dress I like…?
*Roxanne suddenly gets an idea, she jumps up and begins to walk…somewhere*
Paige: Where is she going?
Melodie: I’m not sure actually…hopefully in the right direction. Let’s find out.
*Paige and Melodie follow Roxanne*
*Roxanne finds herself outside “The Sweet Shoppe”*
Roxanne: This is stupid, they don’t sell wedding dresses here…
*Roxanne decides to go in anyway, on her way in she meets Hawk and Ronan just coming out*
Hawk: Thanks for helping me find this, Ronan; it’s just what I was looking for.
Ronan: *smiles* I’m happy to help.
Hawk: Oh, hi, Roxanne!
Ronan: Hello, Miss.
Roxanne: Hi there. Are you…shopping?
Hawk: Yeah…I got something special for Shiloh…but…don’t tell her, okay?
Roxanne: I won’t.
Ronan: I think you will enjoy this store, Miss, I hope you find what you are looking for.
Roxanne: Thank you.
*Roxanne says goodbye to Hawk and Ronan and enters the store doubtfully*
Kiki: Welcome to “The Sweet Shoppe”, may I help you?
Roxanne: *looks around, disappointed* Oh…I’m not sure you have what I’m looking for…but maybe you can help me find the right store?
Kiki: I’d be more than happy to help.
Roxanne: I’m…uh…looking for a wedding dress.
Kiki: Oh, you are getting married? How wonderful! Congratulations!
Roxanne: Thank you.
Kiki: Are you having a difficult time finding the “perfect” dress?
Roxanne: *sadly* Yes.
Kiki: Well…this is not a wedding store…however, I can special order just about anything and it just so happens I have a specialty catalog with some very unique dresses in it that you won’t be able to find just anywhere. If you like, you can take a look.
Roxanne: It certainly can’t hurt to look.
Kiki: Exactly! Let me find the catalog for you.
*Kiki finds the catalog and Roxanne searches through it*
Roxanne: Oh…wow…these dresses are gorgeous!
Kiki: I thought you might like them.
Roxanne: Oh my, this one here… *she points to a page* This is just what I was hoping to find.
Kiki: I can order it if you want. You are under no obligation to buy it until you try it on, I can always return it if you change your mind.
Roxanne: Thank you so much, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your help. I feel more relaxed now.
Kiki: You need the perfect dress; I really hope this works out for you. Just leave me your phone number and I’ll call you as soon as it comes in and you can return to try it on.
Melodie: *getting worried* She’s been in that store for a long time, I wonder what’s going on in there.
Paige: Maybe she found something? Let’s just wait.
Melodie: Oh…I think she’s coming…
*Roxanne comes out of the store with a smile on her face*
Melodie: Oh…she feels happy…she thinks she found something!
Paige: Excellent work, Melodie!
Melodie: I…I…can’t believe I did it…
Paige: I knew you would make an excellent Fairy Godmother. Now, come on…let’s keep an eye on her so we can be sure it all works out.

And my husband is finally almost done with the shelves for my dolls he promised to make for me months ago. I had to get on him about it a little, even though I know he's been really busy, but he got to work on it for my Birthday (in October) and now he is nearly done. Right now I have all of my Pullips on a table in my bedroom, but they get knocked around too easily if people aren't careful and Kiki's store got knocked over once, too. The shelves will get them all safely out of the way and there will be more room...since there is not once stitch of room left on the table to put anymore dolls (both Bo and Kiki have to go elsewhere and I have no where to keep Haute NY either... :P). When they are done I hope to take some photos of the set up. I'm really excited about this, can you tell? Heh... :D
