My apologies for the delay in getting this next chapter of "House of Pullip" up. As you know, I've been dead tired...but busy also...you know, Christmas and all... :P Anyway, I took some time today to get this up so I hope you enjoy it!

Chapter 123:

Grace: So, how did it go with Rayna?
Zander: Grace, I can’t believe you set us up like that.
Grace: I know it was a bit awkward…
Zander: Awkward? It was…

Rayna: …humiliating! Jonas, why did you do that?
Jonas: I’m sorry, I was only trying to help.
Rayna: Help? With what?
Jonas: You know…I wanted to help you stop thinking about Sebastian.
Rayna: *sigh* Is that why Zander took me to…

Zander: …dinner.
Grace: You took her out? Nice work!
Zander: Well, I only did it because I thought you expected me to.
Grace: Oh… *disappointed* You don’t…like her…at all?
Zander: She’s cute but she used to be a…

Rayna: …pirate. He interrogated me all through dinner about it; I think the idea freaks him out.
Jonas: Well, that’s his problem. And Grace and I didn’t tell him to ask you out; we just introduced you to each other to see what would happen.
Rayna: Thank for trying, but I’m not sure this is going to work at all.
Jonas: Oh come on! He was probably just nervous; you know how awkward first dates can be. Can’t you…

Grace: …give her another chance? Does it really matter what she used to be?
Zander: You’re sure she won’t get angry and run me through with that sword of hers?
Grace: *burst out laughing*
Zander: What’s so funny?
Grace: You are! So…

Jonas: …now what?
Rayna: I don’t know, it wasn’t exactly the “ideal” first date.
Jonas: There’s more?
Rayna: Oh yeah…
Jonas: Uh oh…you’d better…

Grace: …tell me how it went. Can’t you at least be friends?
Zander: Er…well…I’m not sure she’ll be speaking to me much after our date.
Grace: Why? What did you do?
Zander: *shifts uncomfortably* Well, I…

Rayna: …asked me if I’d ever killed anyone!
Jonas: He did not!
Rayna: Oh, he did. I told him I was a mercenary, not a murderer. Our date didn’t last too much longer after that.
Jonas: Oh boy…
Rayna: Yeah, it’s…

Zander: …not good.
Grace: Can you blame her for being upset? Really, Zander, of all the things to ask!
Zander: I would be upset, too…I don’t know what came over me! I just sort of blurted it out.
Grace: You’d better apologize.
Zander: Yeah, you’re right. I just…

Rayna: …don’t know what to do.
Jonas: I’m sorry it turned out this way, I feel bad.
Rayna: Don’t. You’re a good friend, I know you meant well. It will all be okay. He seems nice enough.
Jonas: Maybe you can at least be…

Grace: …friends. You know she’s really sweet, you just didn’t give her much of a chance.
Zander: I’ll apologize and maybe we can be friends, but I don’t want you to expect more, Grace. I’m not looking for a girlfriend right now. I just prefer to…play the field, you know?
Grace: Oh…okay. *disappointed*

To be continued...

Yes, it skips back and forth with each photo. You aren't meant to hear/read their entire conversations, but you should be able to figure out what they are saying well enough. If you are confused, however, please don't be afraid to say so and I'll do my best to clear it up. :D

Here's the good news: I'm DONE with my Christmas shopping! :D :D :D That's a ton of stress off me (and more time to sleep, ha!). I also got all my packages mailed today...and I was in and out of the post office in five minutes flat--no kidding! Shocking, isn't it? Especially today which was supposed to be the busiest mailing day of the year (according to the news this morning). I guess they try harder during the holiday season to keep people from standing in line. The only thing I have left to do is mail my Christmas cards. I know I'm getting these out a tad late, but no one is perfect and I doubt anyone on my list will care that much if their cards is a few days late. Then wrapping my kids' gifts and I'm good, but that's the fun part.
