Zander: Tell me more about being a pirate.
Rayna: Are you going to freak out on me again?
Zander: No, I promise, but I am curious…
Rayna: Okay, I’ll tell you a story from my pirate days… *she launches into a pirate tale*

Lucas: Nika! Nika, guess what?
Annike: What is it, Lucas?
*Lucas hands Annike a piece of paper*
Lucas: Look at this!
Annike: *silently scrutinizes the paper*
Lucas: Well?
Annike: This is the essay you wrote…
Lucas: Yeah, look at my grade.
Annike: You got a B+.
Lucas: Yes!
Annike: That’s good…
Lucas: Good? Nika, it’s great! I’m so stoked about this.
Annike: It’s just a B+.
Lucas: Nika, I never got a B+ in literature in my life…try to be a little happier for me.
Annike: *smiles* I am happy for you. You wrote this all by your yourself, that’s great!
Lucas: Thanks for your help, Nika.
Annike: No problem.
Lucas: It’s time for me to return the favor…let me get my guitar and I can start teaching you.
*Lucas starts to run off to get his guitar*
Annike: Lucas, wait.
Lucas: What? Don’t you want lessons? I promised, remember? I won’t break my promise again.
Annike: I know, but there’s always time for that later. Don’t you have more homework to do?
Lucas: *a little disappointed* Yeah, I have to read another book…and write another essay.
Annike: Well, you should work on that. I don’t want to distract you.
Lucas: Well…
Annike: Come on, I’ll help you some more…go get the book and we’ll check it out.

*Rayna has finished her pirate story*
Zander: That is too cool. You must have had some really neat experiences.
Rayna: Yeah, but it wasn’t all fun. I’m glad my pirate life is over now. I’ve been much happier since I left the ship.
Zander: You are a really interesting person, Rayna.
Rayna: *blush* Thank you.
*Zander touches Rayna’s hand*
Zander: We should take a little walk.
Rayna: Um…Zander?
Zander: What?
Rayna: Uh…nothing.
Zander: How about that walk?
Rayna: *still blushing from having her hand touched by Zander* A walk sounds nice.
Zander: Alright, let’s go this way.
Rayna: *slightly flustered* Okay…
