I have a new chapter of "House of Pullip" ready today. Hopefully it's slightly more interesting than the last chapter. :P
Chapter 137: A Wandering Eye
*Rayna and Zander are taking a walk*
Rayna: I told you all about me…but…I don’t know anything about you.
Zander: Oh, I’m not nearly as interesting as you.
Rayna: But I still want to know you.
Zander: I’m a grad student.
Rayna: Oh, that’s great! What are you studying?
Zander: Geology.
Rayna: Rocks?
Zander: Yeah. Well, volcanoes actually.
Rayna: Wow, that’s neat! See? You are interesting.
Zander: *distracted* Hmmm…yeah, I guess.
Rayna: What are you looking at?
Zander: Who is that? *indicates Melodie*
Rayna: Oh…that’s Melodie.
Zander: Her hair is pink.
Rayna: She’s a fairy.
Zander: *interested* Really? That’s so cool! She’s…really pretty. Will you introduce me to her?
Rayna: *tries to hide her annoyance* I don’t really know her well enough to do that. If you want to meet her you should go introduce yourself.
Zander: Maybe I’ll do that later. We are taking a walk right now. Let’s keep going.
*They walk on*
Rayna: …
Zander: …
Zander: *stops Rayna* Whoa, who is that?!?
Rayna: What now?
Zander: *points* Who is that beautiful lady over there?
Rayna: Um…which one?
Zander: The one with the black curly hair.
Rayna: *sigh* That’s Sabrina.
Zander: *in a daze* She’s…gorgeous!
Rayna: Yeah…
Zander: I want to meet her…right now.
Rayna: You go do that. I have to go anyway; I’m supposed to meet someone in a few minutes.
Zander: *still distracted* Okay…bye then.
Rayna: *rolls her eyes as she walks away*
Sabrina: Why won’t you tell me more about that Nicholai guy?
Bo: Because it’s none of your business. We have work to do anyway…er…who is that over there?
Sabrina: *sees Zander* I have no idea.
Bo: Never mind him. I want you to observe…her. *points in the opposite direction*
Sabrina: Who is that?
Bo: She’s new here and she doesn’t know anyone. She needs a friend. That’s where you come in.
Sabrina: You want me to be her friend?
Bo: Why not? It’ll be good for you.
Sabrina: I’m not good at stuff like this. I’d rather make friends with a man anyway. *smirks*
Bo: Not yet. You need to work on friendships first. Finding a lover will come later. Besides, this girl is really lonely and befriending her will help you learn how to think about someone else first.
Sabrina: *sigh* Alright. I’ll give it a try…

Two things: Don't be too mad at Zander or feel too sorry for Rayna. Zander is young and not ready to settle down just yet. Rayna doesn't have strong enough feelings for Zander to be too hurt by that either...but she is annoyed and maybe a tiny bit disappointed.
But...Zander could take a few lessons on tact. :P
In other dolly news: I decided that when I order Oki's new Obitsu (no, I haven't done that just yet...soon) I'm going to get Rayna an Obitsu, too. I'm also going to get a set of those optional hands (with the fists and gripping hands). Rayna is also going to get a new sword, something smaller, lighter and easier for her to hold. This is why I want the gripping hands. :P In the story, Sebastian gave her the sword she currently uses. I just gave her a sword I had lying around the house already (a letter opener my husband bought in Japan ages ago). When I switch swords I'm just going to pretend it's the same sword, so even though it will look different it will still be the one Sebastian gave her...if you follow my story you will understand why she would never want to give up that sword, it means a lot to her because of who gave it to her. Anyway, I'm hoping to get the sword next week sometime, I still haven't ordered the Obitsus yet but I hope to do that soon.
