Chapter 140: Eavesdropping
Ivy: This is a big place.
Sabrina: Yeah, I guess it is.
Ivy: How many people live here exactly?
Sabrina: I don’t know, actually.
Ivy: Who are they? *points to Bo and Nicholai, who are having a conversation*
Sabrina: Oh…that’s interesting…
Ivy: Yes…but who are they?
Sabrina: The blue haired girl is Bo. The guy is named Nicholai, but I’ve only met him once.
Ivy: Will you introduce me? I’d like to meet more people.
Sabrina: Actually, I want to hear what they are talking about. Shhhh…
Ivy: *whispers* But isn’t that eavesdropping?
Sabrina: Maybe…but how else am I supposed to hear the good stuff?
Ivy: *snicker*
Nicholai: Bo, I came all this way, I went through all that trouble to find you. Can’t you give me a chance?
Bo: We’ve been through this before. I know how you feel about me, but I already told you, I cant’ love you back.
Nicholai: Please, just try…you could learn to love me.
Bo: Don’t you understand? I can’t! It’s not possible! It has nothing to do with wanting to love you or anyone, I can’t love…can’t. The gift of being able to love is not an ability I possess no matter how badly I might want to.
Nicholai: But…if you could…would you love me back?
Bo: Oh no, I’m not going to answer that question.
Nicholai: Why not?
Bo: If I say yes it will only contribute to you keeping your hopes up when it really is hopeless. If I say no…well, that would just be cruel to say even if it is true.
Nicholai: *sigh*
Bo: I hate doing this to you, but what else can I do? Please don’t make me feel any worse than I already do. You have to move on. If you learn anything from me then learn this…life is sometimes incredibly unfair. Do yourself a favor and leave this place. It will help you get past this pain quicker.
Nicholai: I don’t want to leave, please let me stay.
Bo: *sigh* Fine. It’s against my better judgment to let you, but you have to promise that there will be no more of this love stuff with me.
Nicholai: But-
Bo: Promise me or I will insist you leave…I can force you to go, you know. Don’t make me do it, but I will if you don’t promise!
Nicholai: Okay, I promise. Can we still please be friends? Will you still teach me if there is something I want to learn from you?
Bo: Yes…I would like it if we could be friends.
Nicholai: *smile*
Bo: Off with you now. There are things I need to be doing.
Bo: *sighs, rubs head*
Sabrina: Well, that was interesting.
Ivy: *notices that Bo has seen them* Uh oh…I think you just get caught.
Sabrina: *smiles and nods*
Bo: *in a steely voice* Sabrina…
Sabrina: You’d better leave Ivy, I’m about to be punished.
Ivy: What?
Sabrina: Bo is my teacher and I’ve been bad.
Ivy: Well, thanks for showing me around. Maybe I’ll…see you later?
Sabrina: Yeah, I’ll see you.
*Ivy leaves, Bo stares at Sabrina with narrowed eyes, Sabrina smiles pleasantly back…*

Okay...I have a very newbie-ish question. I'm a little embarrassed to have to ask this because I'm not a Pullip newbie, but I really don't know the answer so here goes:
Will someone please explain the different between the so-called "old" type 3 wrist and the "new" one? I have several type 3's, a few are older and a few are newer. My newer ones include Haute NY and Hello Kitty, both of which, if I understand correctly, are supposed to have this "new" wrist. However, when I compared their wrists to my older type 3's (Lan Ake and Greggia) I seriously can't tell that there is any difference whatsoever. They look identical to me and seem to move identical to me. So please...explain this pressing mystery for me!! What is the difference??
