Chapter 151: Mouse Tales
*Kiki is talking to her mouse*
Kiki: Thanks for your help today! It’s so nice to have a little help around the store…who knew I’d get it from a mouse?
*Ronan enters the store, Kiki does not notice, continues talking to her mouse*
Kiki: I hope you like this little house I found for you…I feel a bit silly talking to you, but somehow I feel like you can understand me…
Ronan: She can understand you.
Kiki: *gasp* Ronan, I didn’t hear you come in!
Ronan: I did not mean to startle you, Miss.
Kiki: Oh…it’s okay…um…so…she can understand me?
Ronan: Yes, she just can’t speak. But she is very intelligent.
Kiki: She is smart! And a great help. Thanks again, I really love her a lot. She keeps me company like you said. I named her Cupcake and I found her this little house… *trails off in embarrassment as she realizes she is babbling*
Ronan: *smiles* I am very happy that you like her so much, I know she will be very happy with you.
Kiki: *blush*
Ronan: Are you ready?
Kiki: Yes, I just finished closing the store. All I have to do is lock the door.
Ronan: The bride and groom will meet us back at the house. We can walk there together, it is not far.
Kiki: Sounds good, let me just get my notes and we can go…
Elsewhere…
Zander: *grumpy* The girls around here are no fun…
*Zander sees Melodie in the distance*
Zander: Hmmm…there’s that pink haired girl from before. Maybe she’s isn’t as uptight.
*Zander approaches Melodie*
Zander: Hi there.
Melodie: Oh…hello! Have we met?
Zander: I’m Zander.
Melodie: My name is Melodie, it’s nice to meet you.
Zander: Someone told me that you are a fairy, is that true?
Melodie: Yes, I am a fairy. I’m a Fairy Godmother actually…I’m just looking for someone to be a Fairy Godmother for…
Zander: Hey, you can be my Fairy Godmother any day!
Melodie: …
Zander: …
Melodie: *confused* You want a Fairy Godmother?
Zander: Oh…er…no…I was kind of joking.
Melodie: Oh! I see…I suppose I don’t really understand human humor sometimes.
Zander: Sorry…it was a dumb joke I guess. *slightly uncomfortable*
Melodie: I’ve made you feel bad…I’m sorry!
Zander: No, no, I’m okay. Don’t worry. But, hey, maybe I could take you to dinner and I could try to explain some of that human humor to you.
Melodie: *smiles* That sounds nice.
Zander: Let’s go then…

I ordered two more Obitsus on Tuesday morning way early from Junkyspot. Usually they ship out on the same day if you order early enough on a weekday, but I only just got the shipping notice that they went out yesterday. Odd. I guess it's only two days so it's no big deal, I was just expecting the new bodies yesterday or today but instead I have to wait until tomorrow or Monday...blah. Oh well. Plus I'm going to order yet another one. I should have ordered all three together to save on shipping but I didn't think I had enough money. Turns out I have plenty, heh. Oh well again. The third one will be for Kiki. :D
I know a lot of people know this already but I'm so excited I have to mention it again: I ordered my first bjd, This one actually (I mentioned in my wish list a few days ago). I know she's a tiny one, but who cares?! It's what I like. I can't wait, she is so cute! I put her on layaway and made my first payment so I won't get her right away, but hopefully I can come up with the rest of the money by the end of March so I can get her then. Expect photo overload when she arrives. :P
Answer to the movie meme I posted a few days ago: All the movies were guessed but one. The quote was, “Well I ain't sorry for you no more, ya crazy, psalm-singing, skinny old maid!” I thought this was actually quite easy, but probably only if you like old movies (I'm not necessarily an old movie buff or anything, but there are some I just love...like this one). The answer...The African Queen, quote from Humphrey Bogart...good stuff, good movie. :D Thanks for playing!
