*Rayna meets Nicholai for their date*
Nicholai: You look really nice.
Rayna: *blush* Thank you.
Nicholai: This is for you. *he hands her a flower*
Rayna: Oh! It’s beautiful…thank you, again.
Nicholai: Shall we go?
Rayna: Yes.
A while later…
*After dinner and a movie, Rayna and Nicholai are taking a walk together*
Rayna: Thank you for everything, this has been really nice.
Nicholai: I’m glad you are having a good time…I know I am.
Nicholai: I’ve been wondering…who was the “dumb guy” you were telling me about before? Some ex-boyfriend of yours?
Rayna: No…that guy was just a guy I went out with a few times. Before I met you I was trying to move on and get over Sebastian but it was a mistake. I guess that’s why I was reluctant to go out with you at first…I didn’t want it to turn out bad again.
Nicholai: What happened?
Rayna: This guy, his name is Zander, he took me out and I kind of liked him…but I guess I wasn’t pretty enough to keep his attention or something.
Nicholai: What?
Rayna: *sigh* He was more interested in looking at other, prettier girls…I guess I can’t blame him…I know I’m not that pretty…
Nicholai: Whoa…that is not true!
Rayna: I’m realistic, I know it’s true.
Nicholai: I think you’re pretty.
Rayna: You’re just saying that.
Nicholai: I’m not…I mean it…you are very pretty…but you are so much more than that, too…
Rayna: …
Nicholai: …
Voice from offscreen: Rayna!
Rayna: *gasp*
Rayna: Sebastian?
Nicholai: ???

As promised I've been working really hard and have more than enough chapters of this story prepared in advance so I can still update while I'm away on my trip. Since we will be driving all day tomorrow (ugh) the next chapter will be posted Tuesday sometime. Until then...
