Chapter 166: Confusion
*Rayna is looking for Nicholai*
Rayna: Where could he be? *worried*
*Rayna runs into Grace and Jonas*
Jonas: Rayna, what are you doing here? I thought you were with Nicholai.
Rayna: I was…but…well…I can’t find him. You haven’t seen him have you?
Jonas: No…is everything alright?
Rayna: Everything is fine…I think. I just don’t know where Nicholai went…
Grace: Why would he not tell you where he went if nothing is wrong?
Rayna: I can’t imagine what could be wrong…everything was going so well…until Sebastian showed up.
Jonas: Sebastian? What did he want?
Grace: Maybe Nicholai was jealous…
Rayna: But nothing happened. We just talked for a few minutes and then Sebastian left…I can’t imagine what Nicholai would be jealous of…at least not jealous enough to take off with no explanation.
*Jonas and Grace aren’t sure what to say or think*
Rayna: I need to keep looking for him.
Jonas: Would you like some help?
Rayna: No…but thank you. Just let me know if you see him, okay?
Jonas: Sure.
Jonas: I’m worried about her…she doesn’t need her heart broken again.
Elsewhere…
*Sebastian finds Paige*
Sebastian: Paige! My love…
Paige: What are you doing here?
Sebastian: *discouraged by Paige’s less than enthusiastic response*
Sebastian: You told me to let you know when I have decided…
Paige: That didn’t take long.
Sebastian: The decision was easy to make! Of course I want you, how could I think otherwise?
Paige: But you did think otherwise…
Sebastian: You told me to!
Paige: Yes, but I didn’t think you would actually have to think about it!
Sebastian: *uncomfortable* Paige, please…let me explain…
Paige: I don’t want to hear it.
Sebastian: Paige, you are being…unreasonable. Don’t you love me anymore?
Paige: Of course I love you…
Sebastian: Then what is the problem? Please talk to me.
Paige: I don’t want to talk, I just want to be alone right now.
Sebastian: But…
Paige: Please just go away.
Sebastian: But…we need to talk about this.
Paige: *sigh* Not now…I’ll let you know when I’m ready.
Sebastian: …
*Paige walks away*
Sebastian: *terribly confused* I don’t understand…

Hmmm...I don't usually do "drama" but in this case it works. I'll post again on Friday, then I'm driving home on Saturday so I'll post after than on Sunday or Monday (Sunday is Easter so I don't know if I'll have time with family stuff going on and exhaustion from driving all day the day before). I made this little kitty while driving all day Monday...I stuffed it and finished it up yesterday:
My mother-in-law thought this was really cute, it's got long arms and legs and I really like how the ears turned out. Plus it's wearing a scarf...funny thing about the scraf, it helps to cover up a few errors and my sloppy sewing (it is not easy to sew on the limbs and make it look neat). :P
I'm working on another project already, it's a nice way to pass the time.
