Photo Story
Here is the newest chapter of "House of Pullip" and the last chapter I will be posting from vacation. We are driving home tomorrow. No guarantees when the next chapter will be posted...maybe Sunday, but most likely not until Monday. Anyway, for now, enjoy!
Chapter 167: On the Job
*Ronan visits Kiki at “The Sweet Shoppe”*
Kiki: Ronan! It’s good to see you…you haven’t been here in a while…
Ronan: Well…we have not had as much work to do lately…
Kiki: Oh…of course…what can I do for you today?
Ronan: I have a new list of items that Roxanne requested.
Kiki: Thank you.
Ronan: You can take a look at it and let me know in a few days if you can locate the items.
Kiki: Sure…no problem.
*Ronan turns to leave*
Kiki: Wait! Are you leaving already?
Ronan: Yes, Miss, there is nothing else I need.
Kiki: Um…but why don’t you stay and talk to me for a while. I have some cookies I made fresh this morning, you can have a few if you like.
Ronan: I do not want to distract you while you are working.
Kiki: It’s not a distraction…I’m not exactly busy at the moment.
Ronan: I really should go, Miss.
Kiki: *visibly disappointed* Okay…
*Ronan leaves the store*
Kiki: *sigh*
Elsewhere…
Felix: Where is Ivy?
Sabrina: *shrugs* I don’t know.
Felix: I thought you two were friends.
Sabrina: We are friends but that doesn’t mean I know where she is twenty-four hours a day.
Felix: Maybe she is looking for a job…
Sabrina: How would you know?
Felix: She told me.
Sabrina: But why didn’t she tell me?
Felix: Did you ask?
Sabrina: Well…no.
Felix: I asked. Therefore, I received an answer.
*Ivy enters*
Ivy: Hi, guys!
Sabrina: Where have you been…and why are you dressed like that?
Ivy: Well…I got a job.
Felix: Really? Good for you!
Ivy: Thanks. It’s just a temporary job, but it’s something at least.
Sabrina: That still doesn’t explain why you are dressed like that.
Ivy: Well… *blush* It’s a modeling job.
Felix: Wow…nice one. And, by the way, I think you look good.
Ivy: *smiles*
Sabrina: I didn’t know you wanted to be a model.
Ivy: I didn’t…but I don’t know what else to do and I saw an ad and thought, “what the heck”. It’s just a photo shoot for a catalog…no big deal…but they liked me, they were willing to teach me, and I figured it’s a good way to get a little experience.
Sabrina: But…your hair is green…
Felix: Will you shut up?!?
Sabrina: Well it is!
Ivy: They liked my green hair…they said it was unique.
Felix: Don’t listen to Sabrina. Your hair looks fine, I think you look…hot...and I think you will be great on the job. Good luck with it!
Ivy: *blush* Thanks, Felix.
Later…
*After Ivy has left for her job*
Felix: Why did you say that to Ivy? It wasn’t nice.
Sabrina: I was only being honest…at least I didn’t lie to her face like you did.
Felix: I did not lie, I meant everything I said…she did look hot…and I like her hair. If she is really your friend you should try to encourage her more.
Sabrina: Yeah…okay. *eye roll* I’ll try to remember that next time.

Sorry to move the story away from Rayna briefly...she is still looking for Nicholai and we'll get back to her in the next chapter. :D
Also, I finished a few more amigurumi projects, take a look:
Here is a pair of Owls, a large one and small one (Mommy and Baby :P).
Mommy owl only...she took a lot longer to make then I thought she would. No matter, I like how she turned out.
Here is the baby owl, I just finished this one today. The eyes turned out crooked, heh, otherwise I'm pleased with it.
Here is a dog..."Spot"...I finished a few days ago. :D
He is orange with a few brown area on him, like his ears, around one eye, the end of one paw, and his spot (which wasn't on the pattern, I just added it for fun).
One more...just of his face...which isn't very easy to photograph.
