Photo Story
Oh...wow...literally as I was going to make this post, my Min Del Re was delivered! She's still in her box, I haven't even opened her yet. I'm about to die from anticipation so I'm going to hurry and post this so I can get to my new dolly fun (and I will probably have another post later with her photos, heh).
So, here's the next chapter of "House of Pullip", which I made to pass the time while I was waiting for Min to get here. I hope you enjoy it!
Chapter 177: You Are Crazy
Hawk: Are you sure you like this better than the diamond?
Shiloh: Everyone gets a diamond engagement ring…I wanted something different. And I love this emerald!
Hawk: We could go back and still get a diamond.
Shiloh: Green is your favorite color, you said so.
Hawk: Yes, but it’s your ring.
Shiloh: It reminds me of you…don’t worry, I love it!
Hawk: Okay, I believe you. I just want you to be happy.
Shiloh: I’m so happy I just can’t tell you.
Hawk: *smiles* So…about our wedding…
Shiloh: Yes?
Hawk: When, where, and how would you like to do it?
Shiloh: Oh…I don’t know…
Hawk: *teases* You aren’t much help.
Shiloh: Sorry…I’m just too excited to think about that part much…but yes, I guess we have to decide…
Hawk: Well, Roxanne is planning a wedding and she’s one of your best friends. Maybe that could give you some ideas.
Shiloh: *makes a face* I don’t want my wedding to be that complicated. Really…I’m much more excited about being married then the actual wedding.
Hawk: I thought most girls dreamed about this their whole lives?
Shiloh: Most girls probably do…and I guess I did for a time. But my parents are gone and I have no other family. A fancy wedding just doesn’t seem so important now.
Hawk: Hmmm…okay. That makes it easier anyway. When do you want to get married?
Shiloh: It doesn’t matter. The sooner the better.
Hawk: You’re serious?
Shiloh: Yes.
Hawk: Then let’s get married now.
Shiloh: What?
Hawk: Let’s elope. We can call my parents and they’ll meet us in Las Vegas. Then we can take a nice honeymoon somewhere and be alone together for a few weeks. When we get back we can tell everyone and have a little party or something. I just need a few days to make the arrangements and then we can go. Do you think you can take time off work?
Shiloh: *laughs* You really are crazy, aren’t you?
Hawk: Crazy about you, yes! It’s okay if you think it’s a bad idea…
Shiloh: No…actually…I think it’s a great idea.
Hawk: You’re kidding.
Shiloh: No, I’m relieved! I kind of dreaded having a plan an entire wedding.
Hawk: You really want to? I don’t want to pressure you.
Shiloh: I do want to…it’s just…
Hawk: What?
Shiloh: It’s happening so fast. I don’t mind that…but I’m afraid of what other people will think…
Hawk: It is happening fast, but as long as it doesn’t bother us, why should it matter?
Shiloh: I know…but I can’t help worrying about it.
Hawk: Try not to, but if you are having second thoughts I want to know. I don’t want you to be disappointed.
Shiloh: As long as I get to marry you I won’t be disappointed. Let’s elope!
Hawk: *smiles* I promise to make it special…I won’t let you down.
Shiloh: I know you won’t.
Hawk: Just get some time off work and leave the rest to me…

I've seen an emerald engagement ring and it really is gorgeous. Shiloh gets an emerald ring, otherwise it would like just like Roxanne's...and that just wouldn't work. It suits Shiloh though. :D
And good job to herroyaldemones who guessed they might elope and run off to Las Vegas. :P I did have this planned ahead of time so it was hard for me not to spill the beans, but she is right...it's a very Hawk-like thing to do. Again, it works for them so...

One more thing:
Here is a raccoon amigurumi and designed and finally finished last night. I started on this a while ago but I was not pleased with the face so I put it away for a while. I made some changes to the face, although I'm still not completely happy with it, but I love how the body and tail turned out!
Okay...I have to open Min now...I'm sure I will post later with lots of photos... :P
